After 22 years of marriage and a seemingly neverending tug-of-war over former President Trump, conservative political analyst Kellyanne Conway and her husband, Never-Trumper George Conway, are rumored to be getting a divorce.
Page Six is reporting that the longtime advisor to Trump and her husband have decided to go their separate ways. Rumors of a divorce have swirled for a long time.
According to the media outlet, beltway insiders claim that the soon-to-be ex-couple have both lawyered up and that details of the divorce are being hashed out.
Trump gave his congratulations to Conway on her impending divorce via Truth Social, “Congratulations to Kellyanne Conway on her DIVORCE from her wacko husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway. Free at last, she has finally gotten rid of the disgusting albatross around her neck. She is a great person, and will now be free to lead the kind of life that she deserves…and it will be a great life without the extremely unattractive loser by her side!”
In 2016, Kellyanne Conway served first as a campaign advisor to candidate Trump and then as his campaign manager. She was widely credited with being instrumental in his getting elected to the presidency.
Her husband co-founded the notorious Never-Trumper Lincoln Project that has aggressively worked to take the former president down by any means necessary no matter how dirty or underhanded.
Following Trump’s inauguration, she became the senior counselor to the president. George Conway, meanwhile, smeared, slandered, and attacked Trump at every turn.
Vanity Fair noted in 2022, “One of the greatest mysteries of the 21st century is the marriage of Kellyanne Conway and her husband, George — specifically, if they hate each other as much as their public commentary would suggest, or if the whole thing is some kind of three-dimensional chess designed to further their own interests.”

That mystery appears to have been resolved. For quite a while, the discord of the couple has been reported and salivated over in the media. To many, a divorce certainly comes as no surprise.
The Conways were married in 2001. They have four children.
Kellyanne Conway wrote a memoir in 2022 titled “Here’s the Deal.” In it, she asserted that her husband’s constant criticism of Trump was a betrayal of their marriage. She called it “cheating by tweeting.” According to Conway, Ivanka Trump suggested couples therapy.
“I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!” Trump previously tweeted concerning George Conway
Kellyanne Conway defended the statement, claiming it was part of the former president’s famous flair for “punching back,” and that her husband had suggested he was mentally ill without justification.
No loving spouse would have treated his wife the way George Conway treated Kellyanne.
The wretched anti-Trump rump didn't need Mr. Conway to chime in, but he couldn't discipline himself–not even out of respect for the mother of his children.
Good riddance to a true SOB. https://t.co/aVh7vvG1fQ

The Conway family’s troubles made their way online last year when their daughter, “American Idol” contestant Claudia Conway, started posting videos about their family life.
Following that development, both parents resigned from their respective positions to spend time with family.
According to Page Six, Claudia Conway has said that she stepped back from the media following her viral experience “because of the way that my words were being misconstrued.” She stated that she and her mother started going to therapy together and that it helped them “make peace with each other.”
Insiders told the media outlet that the couple attempted to mend their marriage but finally gave up on it.
The split seems to explain a cryptic moment that happened Wednesday on the “Fast Politics with Molly Jong-Fast” podcast. Jong-Fast asked George Conway if “there’s going to be a change in George Conway’s life.” He replied: “It’s possible.” There was no other context given, except that he called the host, “a troublemaker.”
