Teacher with prosthetic Z-cups placed on leave from class, accused of dressing like a man outside work

Kayla Lemieux, the biological male high school teacher who became famous for strutting around school dressed as a woman with z-size prosthetic breasts, has reportedly been placed on leave from Oakville Trafalgar High School.

“While not currently on an active assignment, the teacher remains employed with the HDSB (Halton District School Board),” a board spokesperson told the Toronto Sun on Wednesday.

This development comes roughly two weeks after the New York Post discovered that Lemieux allegedly dresses like a regular guy outside of work. The discovery was made by simply following him after he left work.

“The teacher — who until a few years ago went by the name Kerry — left Ontario’s Oakville Trafalgar High School this week wearing the gigantic breasts, a blond wig and glasses, but it wasn’t long until the cartoonish clothing came off,” the Post reported.

“After shopping at a department store and pet supplies shop dressed as a woman, Lemieux headed home to get changed and emerged dressed as a man 30 minutes later. Lemieux then spent the afternoon in public wearing men’s sweatpants, trainers, a gray T-shirt and a navy puffer vest without breasts, makeup, glasses or wig,” the newspaper added.

The Post also obtained witness testimony from Lemieux’s neighbors.

“He wears prosthetic breasts extremely infrequently. He puts the breasts on to teach, occasionally when he goes for a walk or when the cops visit,” one neighbor said.

According to the neighbor, the prosthetic breasts appeared out of nowhere last May when Lemieux was spotted “parading” them while walking down a busy road.

“I was driving past. You can see the breasts from so far away when you’re driving. He put the whole outfit on and just walked up and down Guelph Line — no bags, just walking. Everyone slows down because you can’t believe what they’re seeing,” the neighbor said.

The neighbor added that they have seen Lemieux leave his apartment complex dressed as a man more often than dressed as a woman.

Following the Post’s investigation, Lemieux contacted them to tell his side of the story, which was that his obviously fake breasts were somehow, someway real.

“I’m not wearing prosthetic breasts. These are real,” he said to the Post.

He also denied being transgender, claiming instead to be intersex.

“My condition is classified as gigantomastia, which can also be referred to as macromastia or breast hypertrophy. It’s rare, there’s no doubt about it. It affects women on a very rare basis, but in my case, I believe — and my doctor thinks — because I have XX chromosomes as well, that has something to do with it, and hormone sensitivity to estrogen has caused it,” he said.

Lemieux even denied being the man the Post had spotted earlier.

“I can’t tell you who that is because I don’t want to bring anyone else into this. I don’t want that person being thrown all over the media, but it wasn’t me,” he claimed.

“This is who I am. This is how I look. You’ve been talking to people in my building but what they’re telling you is harsh and untrue. I am always going out looking the way I am,” he added.

Lemieux’s ouster from the classroom also came on the same day that the Waterloo Region Record published a damning profile about life at Oakville Trafalgar High School.

“Teens who attend the school say they feel unsafe given the frequent bomb threats — when teachers conduct visual checks of classrooms — and also because they said they’ve been discouraged from talking about the divisive situation,” the paper reported.

“I’m constantly in fear that we are going to get attacked,” one student said.

Another student said that the school board’s refusal to adopt a staff dress code is making things worse.

“We keep getting these emails from the school, saying, ‘We’re taking it seriously, we’re doing everything we can to keep you safe.’ … We feel like they’re not,” the student said.

One Grade 12 student went so far as to accuse Lemieux of engaging in “inappropriate workplace conduct.”

“This is inappropriate workplace conduct and (it is) endangering the lives of students. A lot of students that I’ve spoken to are angry about that. But we feel like we can’t come out and say that, otherwise we will be labeled, not just by other students but even our teachers, as transphobic,” the student said.

Meanwhile, parents have formed their own group, Students First Ontario, to lobby against Lemieux working in the district as a teacher.
