Tim Scott says Dems peddling a ‘narcotic of despair’ in pursuit of their ‘blueprint on how to ruin America’

Senator Tim Scott had strong words for the modern incarnation of the Democratic party, accusing what many feel has become an extremist political entity since its takeover by far-left forces of deliberately destroying America from within, also insisting that it should not be seen as negative to point out President Joe Biden’s disastrous stewardship of the country.

The South Carolina Republican appeared on Sunday morning’s edition of “Fox News Sunday” where he discussed the optimistic message that he has been trying to stress during his “Faith in America” listening tour in key early voting states as he mulls whether he will soon jump into the 2024 race for the White House.

“The left today seems to be working on a blueprint on how to ruin America,” Scott said during his latest appearance on the conservative network,  suggesting that instead of portraying America in a positive light, that Democrats are akin to drug peddlers pushing a toxic cocktail of victimhood and hopelessness.

“You have to be able to contrast between why we are a great country and why the left wants us to talk about grievance,” he said.” “The fact is that the left is trying to sell a drug of victimhood and the narcotic of despair.”

“The truth is that we have so much to celebrate and yet today, in many parts of the country, you feel like you’re in quicksand,” he added.

“Why is that negative to point out the fact that under Joe Biden’s leadership, we’ve had the highest inflation in 40 years?” Scott asked of the repressive atmosphere that exists when it comes to honestly criticizing dear leader and his rogue regime.

The Palmetto State senator hasn’t held back in his criticism of Biden, suggesting that the geriatric career politician who has spent the last five decades swimming in the D.C. swamp may be compromised by communist China.

“All that Biden does is pacify China,” Scott said in another interview with John Catsimatidis on Cats Roundtable. “I don’t know why he does this.”

“I don’t know if he’s compromised,” he added of the the nation’s 46th president. “I don’t know what it is, but this is a guy who won’t stand up to dictators around the world.”

Long speculated as a potential presidential candidate, Scott has remained coy about whether he will declare his 2024 candidacy.

“I’ve made the decision to go to church at 11:30 today,” he told Fox when asked about whether an announcement was forthcoming.

If and when Senator Scott does enter the race for the White House, he will join fellow South Carolinian, former governor and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, former President Donald J. Trump and biotech entrepreneur and author Vivek Ramaswamy who as been dubbed as the “CEO of Anti-Woke Inc.” who have already jumped in with both feet with the expectation being that several others including rock star Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will soon enter the competition to see who will take on Biden in the most consequential election in the nation’s history.
