It didn’t take long for criticism of Nikki Haley to pour in from the left following her presidential campaign launch, but Don Lemon quickly stepped too far over the line.
While trying to swat down Haley’s criticism about President Joe Biden’s advanced age, he accidentally swung too hard and hit a hornet’s nest. While his female co-hosts rushed to set him straight, his remarks did not escape the former United Nations ambassador’s notice.
“Liberals can’t stand the idea of having competency tests for older politicians to make sure they can do the job,” Haley tweeted on Thursday. “BTW it’s always the liberals who are the most sexist.”

“Sorry,” Lemon said. “When a woman is in their prime, in 20s and 30s and maybe 40s…”
“What are you talking — Wait…” interjected Poppy Harlow.
“That’s not according to me,” Lemon said in a desperate attempt to defend himself.
“Prime for what?” Harlow pressed.
“It depends. It’s just like, prime,” Lemon flailed. “If you look it up. If you Google when is a woman in her prime, it’ll say 20s, 30s, 40s.”
But Harlow and Haley aren’t the only ones who noticed Lemon’s degrading statements:
