Committee on government weaponization must brace for totalitarian resistance

Op-ed views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author.

The Joe Biden regime’s reaction to the Tyre Nichols travesty seeks to undermine the new House Republican majority. Biden is purposefully and maliciously exacerbating racial division: “Fatal encounters with law enforcement have disparately impacted Black and Brown people.” Nichols, the police involved, and the police chief were all black, so race played no part in the tragedy.

The House Judiciary Committee’s investigation of government weaponization threatens the regime’s agenda of creating a one-party state. Indispensable to this is control of justice to persecute political opponents and protect allies regardless of evidence and law.

Since his inauguration, Barack Obama has promoted the false narrative of systemic racism. The lie has divided the country for his promised transformation of America. This set the stage for the paramilitary wing of the Democrat Party—Black Lives Matter and Antifa—to turn peaceful protests violent. They did this in Charlottesville in 2017, in the summer of 2020, and most likely on January 6, 2021. They tried it last week in various cities after Nichols was victimized.

Violent protests, called peaceful by regime media—the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, and others—began after George Floyd’s death and subsided after the Kenosha riots. Previous riots had occurred in large cities, and once they came to a small town in Wisconsin, polls in crucial swing states moved against Democrats.

Suddenly, not coincidentally, the protests subsided. Biden’s handlers can end or summon violence whenever it suits their agenda while simultaneously paying lip service to nonviolence.

Obama’s movement employs his hero Saul Alinksy’s strategy. In his signature 1971 work, Rules for Radicals, Saul Alinsky wrote: “All issues must be polarized … One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other … We exploited [racism] for our own purposes.”

Totalitarians throughout history have used polarization to take over countries. Demonizing supposed enemies keeps those who fall for it constantly angry, agitated, and fearful. It also makes them impervious to reason, reflexively rejecting facts that contradict the false narrative.

The regime has an array of wedge issues—racism, climate change, gender ideology, COVID-19, etc—to keep its followers in line. It demonizes its targets as white supremacist, homophobic, xenophobic, transphobic, fascist insurrectionists.

The regime also uses blatant lies. Biden, for example, said on January 26 that MAGA House Republicans want to cut Social Security and Medicare and raise taxes and gasoline prices. Successful use of demonization and lies is one reason the regime was not trounced in the midterm elections.

To resist the Republican investigation of government weaponization, the regime will employ its usual demonize-and-stonewall strategy. The regime will accuse its opponents of political motives and defame the key players and anyone prominent who wants to inform the public of the truth.

The regime has gotten away with this strategy because its oligarch-owned media partners back official lies and suppress truth unfavorable to the regime. CNN’s Van Jones, for example, says antiblack racism “can still be a factor, even when the perpetrators are all black.” According to the regime and its partners, Nichols’s death is part of pervasive American white supremacy.

The defund-the-police movement—part of the 2020 Democrat electoral strategy—increased the likelihood of what happened to Nichols. Demoralizing police results in resignations and makes recruiting qualified people more difficult. The five officers accused of second-degree murder of Nichols violated the standards of proper policing.

None of this is coincidence. Violence and chaos are tools to conquer societies. Letting criminals and terrorists into the country via an open-border policy is another tool. Violence wears people down, leads them to crave stability, and prepares them for the severe and arbitrary justice that characterizes totalitarianism.

Regime supporters and regime-media consumers will not care no matter what the House Judiciary Committee discovers. For them, anything that keeps the evil enemy from power is justified. That can be spying on parents concerned about radical school curriculums or not prosecuting illegal intimidation of Supreme Court justices.

Republicans must appeal to Americans’ humanity and empathy, since totalitarians are inhumane and ruthless. They sacrifice anyone, including Nichols and illegal migrants, when their suffering promotes the totalitarian agenda.

Republicans must convey what it is like to be persecuted for nothing more than legitimately opposing regimes such as the one that now governs us. People must understand it can happen to anyone, at any time, for any reason. Arbitrary, totalitarian justice is the antithesis of the due process and individualism on which the United States was founded.

Freedom cannot survive the Biden regime’s illegal and immoral use of government against free speech and other natural rights. It will get worse if not stopped now.
