Vice President Kamala Harris pointedly left out the “life” portion of the quote from the Declaration of Independence during her pro-abortion speech in Florida for the 50th anniversary of the now-overturned Roe v. Wade Supreme Court case.
Harris was speaking in Tallahassee, Florida when she deliberately bastardized the line she quoted from the Declaration of Independence, which actually refers to “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness” as natural rights.
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness,” the Declaration of Independence states.
“We are here today because we collectively believe and know, America is a promise – it is a promise of freedom and liberty,” the vice president intoned in her 18-minute-long speech, adding “Not for some, but for all. A promise that we made in the Declaration of Independence that we are each endowed with the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

The leftist vice president made a calculated appearance in Florida as President Biden issued a presidential memorandum seeking to protect access to the abortion pill nationwide.
The gathered crowd reportedly booed after she criticized Florida’s 15-week abortion ban.
“Here in Florida, healthcare providers face prison for up to five years for simply doing their job,” Harris declared. “And now the state has also targeted medication abortion – and even threatened Florida pharmacists.”
“The government should not be telling people what to do with their own bodies,” the vice president chastised.

Back in September, Harris gushed over Democrat attorneys general for “taking on” pregnancy centers after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, conveniently not noting the violence against pro-life organizations and pregnancy centers across the country by leftist radicals at the time.
“Democrats are proudly cheerleading barbaric policies to allow unrestricted abortions — including infanticide. That’s all anyone needs to know,” the Republican Party of Florida wrote in a statement on Harris’ remarks.
By contrast, the March for Life was host to thousands of anti-abortion advocates in Washington, D.C. on Saturday who celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Marchers brandished signs proclaiming they are part of the “post-Roe generation.”

“Today, instead of commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, we are acknowledging that last year, the Supreme Court took away a constitutional right from the American people,” Biden said in a statement on Sunday. He also sent out a number of tweets taking jabs at conservatives over the issue.

At Harris’ Florida speech on Sunday, attendees were reportedly required to sign a form confirming whether they had been vaccinated or not.
The form was reportedly titled, “Attestation of Vaccination,” and it required those in attendance to indicate whether they are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or vaccinated.

According to Fox News, “Those who decline to indicate either were required provide proof that they completed a COVID-19 test within three days of the event and received a negative result, wear a mask, and socially distance themselves from others.”
“Anyone who was fully vaccinated and attending the event could mask, social distance, and follow any other protocols set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or CDC, if they so choose,” the media outlet added.
