A months-long investigation has found that the horrific story of a gay couple allegedly sexually abusing their two adopted sons may be even worse than originally reported as it now appears the young children may have been victims of a pedophile ring.
In July 2022, William Dale Zulock, a 33-year-old government worker, and his partner Zachary Jacoby Zulock, a 35-year-old banker, of Georgia were arrested and later indicted on charges of incest, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, felony sexual exploitation of children and felony prostitution of a minor. Since those charges, Townhall underwent a lengthy investigation of the LGBTQ activist couple’s jailhouse calls, court documents, and family testimony.
As Townhall reported in their four-part investigative series, “According to a copy of the 17-count indictment Townhall has obtained, the adoptive dads allegedly performed oral sex on both boys, forced the children to perform oral sex on them, and anally raped their sons. In at least one instance, the anal rape injured the older Zulock child, who just turned 11-years old in mid-December. Court records indicate that the child sexual abuse stretches back to as early as late 2019 and intensified in January 2021, March 2021, and December 2021, as the offense dates are listed.”
Having both plead not guilty and facing more than nine life sentences, the indictment went on to name Loganville, Georgia residents Hunter Clay Lawless, 27, and Luis Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, 25, as johns solicited to “perform an act of prostitution” with their sons by the Zulocks.
Lawless claimed never to have had physical contact with the boys and further claimed Zachary had sent him Snapchat messages that included images of him sexually abusing the 11-year-old with the caption, “I’m going to f*ck my son tonight. Stand by.”
According to a relative, the Zulocks began living a lavish lifestyle roughly one year after the boys were adopted. All of their property, including their home and multiple vehicles, was seized and declared “‘property’ of the state, Townhall reported.
Though pleading not guilty, both adoptive parents admitted to transmitting the images of sexual abuse and William admitted to forcing his 11-year-old adopted son to perform “oral copulation” on him “with the intent to satisfy his own … sexual desire,” as detailed in a sworn affidavit.
Further concerns were raised by the outlet which detailed a “2011 probe into Zachary’s alleged pedophilic behavior” after he had been accused of luring a 14-year-old boy to a residence and then raping the victim. According to Townhall, no charges were pursued in that case and Walton County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Zachary Barrett of the criminal investigations division said, “The 2011 case was handled in a manner that is inconsistent with today’s current investigatory standards but the law enforcement officers in the Criminal Investigations Division at that time have since retired.”
“Current WCSO detectives are assessing the case and seeking any leads that may still yield charges. As with all cases,” Barrett wrote, “our detectives are diligent and passionate when it comes to charging child molesters and will always seek justice for the victim.”
The Zulocks are due back in court on Feb. 1.
