Tucker Carlson details facts around his claim Deep State ousted Nixon for suggesting CIA killed Kennedy

Tucker Carlson has made a career out of shouting the quiet part out loud on television, but in 2023, it seems the controversial Fox News host has turned Truth up to eleven and resolved to report on-air what just a few years ago would have been considered journalistic suicide.

On Thursday, Carlson, as a means of explaining how far the Deep State will go to protect itself and further its agenda, explained that the powers that truly run Washington, D.C.  had former President Richard Nixon — “the most popular president in American history” — booted from the White House because he suggested that the CIA assassinated former President John F. Kennedy.

No, Carlson’s monologue wasn’t an audition tape for an Oliver Stone movie — it was a detailed account of events our citizens aren’t supposed to know, aren’t supposed to question.

“So, if you want to understand, if you really want to understand how the American government actually works at the highest levels, and if you want to know why they don’t teach history anymore, one thing you should know is that the most popular president in American history was Richard Nixon,” he began. “Richard Nixon. Yet somehow, without a single vote being cast by a single American voter, Richard Nixon was kicked out of office and replaced by the only unelected president in American history.”

Carlson explained that, far from being “despised by all decent people,” Nixon was reelected in 1972 “by the largest margin of the popular vote ever recorded before or since.”

“Nixon got 17 million more votes than his opponent,” Carlson stated. “Less than two years later, he was gone” and Gerald Ford, “an obedient servant of the federal agencies,” was given the keys to the Oval Office.

So-called “conspiracy theorists” have been diving down JFK-related rabbit holes for decades and received mountains of tin foil for their efforts.

So, when Carlson said last week that he had a source who confirmed that the CIA had a hand in JFK’s demise, it was as though millions of free-thinking Americans were vindicated.

“So less than a year after the JFK assassination, the Johnson White House released something called the Warren Commission Report,” Carlson said on that explosive broadcast. “And the report concluded that while their motives remained unclear, both Lee Oswald and Jack Ruby had acted alone. No one helped them. There was no conspiracy of any kind. Case closed. Time to move on.”

He discussed a psychiatrist called Louis Jolyon “Jolly” West — an architect of the CIA’s mind-control program, MK-ULTRA — who visited Jack Ruby in a Dallas jail.

And he quoted a source who had first-hand knowledge of the classified JKF documents that are still being withheld from the American people, who said that everything we thought we knew about our country was “fake.”

“We asked this person directly, ‘Did the CIA have a hand in the murder of John F. Kennedy, an American president?'” Carlson said. “And here’s the reply we received verbatim. Quote, ‘The answer is yes. I believe they were involved. It’s a whole different country from what we thought it was. It’s all fake.'”

On Thursday, Carlson doubled down on that source’s claims, and went deeper, claiming that the CIA and The Washington Post colluded to overthrow a sitting U.S. president.

“It’s a long story,” Carlson said, “but here are the highlights.”

Nixon, Carlson explained, rightly believed — and often stated — that “elements in the federal bureaucracy were working to undermine the American system of government and had been doing that for a long time.”

Carlson continued:

On June 23, 1972, Nixon met with the then–CIA director, Richard Helms, at the White House. During the conversation, which thankfully was tape-recorded, Nixon suggested he knew “who shot John,” meaning President John F. Kennedy. Nixon further implied that the CIA was directly involved in Kennedy’s assassination, which we now know it was. Helms’s telling response? Total silence, but for Nixon, it didn’t matter because it was already over. Four days before, on June 19, The Washington Post had published the first of many stories about a break-in at the Watergate office building.

Unbeknownst to Nixon and unreported by The Washington Post, four of the five burglars worked for the CIA. The first of many dishonest Watergate stories was written by a 29-year-old metro reporter called Bob Woodward.

Carlson went on to reveal that Woodward “wasn’t a journalist,” he “came directly from the classified areas of the federal government.”

With “top-secret clearance,” the host stated, Woodward “worked regularly with the intel agencies” before he was inexplicably hired by The Post and handed “the biggest story in the country.”

Carlson continued:

Just to make it crystal clear what was actually happening, Woodward’s main source for his Watergate series was the deputy director of the FBI, Mark Felt, and Mark Felt ran — and we’re not making this up — the FBI’s COINTELPRO program, which was designed to secretly discredit political actors, the federal agencies wanted to destroy — people like Richard Nixon.

And at the same time, those same agencies were also working to take down Nixon’s elected vice president, Spiro Agnew. In the fall of 1973, Agnew was indicted for tax evasion and forced to resign. His replacement was a colorless congressman from Grand Rapids called Gerald Ford.

If all of this is starting to sound a lot like Elon Musk’s “Twitter Files,” that’s the point.

MK-ULTRA, COINTELPRO, and a host of other constitutional violations by the U.S. intel agencies were the subject of the 1970s Church Committee, which exposed the Deep State to the American people and was meant to put an end to the Orwellian programs.

Following the release of the Twitter Files and the clear weaponization of our media, our DOJ, and our intelligence agencies, Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) was forced to promise, among other things, a Church Committee 2.0 before he was handed the gavel he so desperately craved.

With Thursday’s monologue, Carlson wasn’t trying to set his career on fire on national television, he was showing that history is repeating and rhyming right before our very eyes with the convenient discovery of classified documents in Joe Biden’s possession.

The Deep State is done with Biden, Carlson believes and is orchestrating his removal from the White House.

Ford was installed as president, Carlson contended, at least in part because “he had served on the Warren Commission, which absolved the CIA of responsibility for President Kennedy’s murder.”

Said Carlson:

Nixon was strong-armed into accepting Gerald Ford by Democrats in Congress. “We gave Nixon no choice but Ford,” Speaker of the House Carl Albert later boasted. Eight months later, Gerald Ford of the Warren Commission was the president of the United States.

“See how that works?” Carlson asked his viewers. “So those are the facts, not speculation. All of that actually happened. None of it’s secret. Most of it actually is on Wikipedia, but no mainstream news organization has ever told that story. It’s so obvious, yet it’s intentionally ignored and as a result, permanent Washington remains in charge of our political system.”

“Unelected lifers in the federal agencies make the biggest decisions in American government and crush anyone who tries to rein them in and in the process, our democracy becomes a joke,” he stated.

If you still doubt that we’ve been watching a reboot of a Deep State special, Carlson urged viewers to consider the case of Gen. Michael Flynn.

Now, you may have noticed that the very first person in the Trump administration the agencies went after was Gen. Michael Flynn. Why Flynn? Because Mike Flynn was a career Army intel officer who ran the Defense Intelligence Agency.

In other words, Mike Flynn knew exactly how the system worked, and as a result, he was capable of fighting back. Four days after Donald Trump’s inauguration, the FBI lured Mike Flynn into a meeting without his lawyer, concocted a series of fake crimes and forced him to resign.

“So, that’s how things actually work in Washington,” Carlson said. “Let’s stop lying about it.”

And while there may be some “perverse justice” in watching the machine “shaft” Joe Biden, said Carlson, “the rest of us do deserve a better system, an actual democracy.”

“When people nobody voted for run everything,” Carlson noted, “you are not living in a free country.”
