‘We’re all being scammed’: Fmr. AG says Merrick Garland is protecting Biden with scope of probe

After years of watching the Department of Justice (DOJ) run cover for President Joe Biden and his progressive agenda, many were pleasantly surprised when U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland swiftly moved to appoint former U.S. Attorney Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate the shocking discovery of classified documents found in the President’s Penn Biden Center office and at his Delaware home. But former Kansas AG Phil Klein says we shouldn’t be too quick to celebrate: The “narrow authority” Garland gave Hur is evidence that he’s still covering for the Biden family.

“The substance is not that a special counsel has been picked,” Klein told Fox News’s “Unfiltered” host, Dan Bongino on Saturday, “it’s what authority that they have to investigate. And when you look at the special counsel as it relates to President Biden, they have a very narrow authority according to the appointment letter, only to look at the documents.”

“Now, let’s look for a second at what Attorney General Garland knew when he made this decision,” Klein continued. “He knew that the documents were found at the Penn Biden Center. He knew that the Penn Biden Center, when they located at the University of Pennsylvania, that the University of Pennsylvania received $47 million, while that Center was there. That the University of Pennsylvania pushed that money to Biden, and ten of his cabinet members received salaries — up to ten! — at the Penn Biden Center, including Mr. Biden.”

It appears, according to Klein, that all roads lead back to Ukraine and China and the potentially criminal deals made by Hunter Biden on behalf of the Big Guy when he served as Vice President — a role that gave him zero authority to declassify anything.

When looking at the documents scandal, as always, it’s important to follow the money.

“Additionally, at the same time, Hunter is on the Burisma board, the documents pertain to Ukraine,” Klein stated. “And that would be of interest to those who are concerned about Hunter Biden and who he’s dealing with and those who are paying his salary. So, you have some evidence of intent as to why the documents should be there, and that evidence of intent relates to the flow of money.”

“There is something else that Attorney General Garland knew,” he revealed. “He knew he had received a letter from the University of Pennsylvania, asking that he end the China Initiative of the Department of Justice, which is looking at economic espionage by China.”

According to the DOJ’s website, “The China Initiative is led by the Department’s National Security Division (NSD), which is responsible for countering nation-state threats to the United States.”

It “reflects the strategic priority of countering Chinese national security threats and reinforces the President’s overall national security strategy.”

“Now, you have to understand that 50% of the most wanted list on the FBI’s fugitive list relate to espionage by China,” Klein said. “He ended it at the request of the University of Pennsylvania.”

“That is a conflict of interest,” he stated. “Yet he only gave the special prosecutor a very narrow focus, while President Trump’s special prosecutor can look at everything.”

It’s a theory that struck a nerve with Bongino.

“I think we’re all being scammed,” he replied.

Meanwhile, Biden is still doing his level best to demonize his political opponents, appearing, at least to one celebrity, more and more like a mafia mob boss.

Actor and outspoken conservative Randy Quaid tweeted a clip of a grimacing President Biden calling those who would question the legitimacy of his leadership “sick insurrectionists” who spread threats on the internet.

“The real Whitey Bulger,” Quaid quipped.
