With House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) confirming that Democrats believed compromised will lose committee assignments, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) blasted Rep. “little” Eric Swalwell (D-CA) whose recent vote only furthered speculation that he’s “sold out to China.”

Even a cursory glance at the records of Swalwell alongside Democratic Reps. Adam Schiff (CA) and Ilhan Omar (MN) would stand sufficient to question their respective ongoing inclusion in the Intelligence Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee. McCarthy recently touched on that after it was confirmed those legislators would be blocked and he told the press, “If you got the briefing I got from the FBI, you wouldn’t have Swalwell on any committee.”
Saturday Boebert joined Fox News host Dan Bongino for his weekly program “Unfiltered” and spoke specifically to Swalwell’s reported involvement with suspected Chinese spy, Christine Fang, whom he has contended he cut ties with prior to 2015.
“As far as Swalwell, I mean, look at last Congress. Congressman Gosar (R-AZ) was removed from his committee because he made an anime video. So do I think that Swalwell being compromised by a Chinese spy is reason to be removed from the Intel Committee? Heck yes, I do,” she declared.
“He’s obviously sold out to China. In the House, I just voted to stop selling our strategic oil reserves to China, so did most Democrats,” Boebert said before taking a shot at her Democratic colleague, “But little Eric took a walk and refused to take the vote. He’s compromised, and he should be nowhere near top-secret, classified information.”
As it happened, the Protecting America’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve from China Act passed with overwhelming bipartisan support at 331 to 97 with all but four Republicans voting in favor and every no vote belonging to the Democrats. Six congressmen, including Swalwell, were recorded as “Not Voting.”
Previously, Boebert had called out Swalwell’s links to China when he had attempted to slight her Second Amendment advocacy as to blame for violence committed by severely troubled individuals. When he contended, “Let’s start drawing straight lines,” juxtaposing her with the suspected Highland Park Independence Day parade murderer, she responded, in part by saying “Eric Swalwell isn’t a fan of our Constitutional rights and is desperate to distract from his repeated political failures, but the only straight line that needs to be drawn is from Eric Swalwell to Fang Fang to the Chinese Communist Party.”

“I will make sure that line gets drawn when we take back the House. Law-abiding gun owners won’t be smeared and disarmed every time a California failed presidential candidate rolls out of bed with a Chinese spy and tries to blame us for the conduct of others.”
She then proceeded to tackle biased corporate media and partisan Democrats with comparisons of coverage between former President Donald Trump and his son Donald Trump Jr. to that of President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.
“They’re really showing their colors. They’re a bunch of ‘Blue Anons,’ conspiracy theorists that have these witch hunts and hoax that they chase after. The Democrats double standard is out of control. They wanted Trump in jail over classified documents and with Biden it’s let’s wait and see. They attacked Don Jr. and praised the crackhead, gun criminal Hunter Biden. And now, you can even imagine if it was a Republican caught with a Chinese spy what would they do? They would be all over that,” Boebert argued.
“Instead they are running from it because it’s a Democrat and most Americans haven’t even heard about everything that’s going on,” she continued. “And not only has–going back to Swalwell–has he been a member of the Intel Committee, but he was a subcommittee chair…and in one hand he’s holding a gavel, and Dan, in the other hand he’s holding a hammer and sickle.”
