“I don’t know how he’s doing it, he’s more of a man than I am, but he’s trying to salvage his marriage,” Jedidiah Hall’s boss, Coffee County Sheriff Chad Partin, told the Daily Mail in an interview.

Officer Maegan Hall of the LaVergne, Tennessee Police Department was fired after allegations were made that she was having sex with her coworkers, sent them nude pictures, took off her top at a “Girls Gone Wild”-themed hot tub party, and performed oral sex on two fellow officers while she was on duty. Her husband Jedidiah Hall head-scratchingly seems to be willing to forgive her after all of that.

Others fired over the trysts include Sgt. Lewis Powell, Officer Juan Lugo, Sgt. Ty McGowan, and Detective Seneca Shields, according to an internal investigation conducted last month.

Officers Patrick Magliocco, Gavin Schoeberl, and Larry Holladay, who allegedly also had sex with Hall, get to remain on the force but were suspended over the scandal.

Hall boasted to coworkers that she had an open marriage, according to investigators. Her husband, who is the son of a pastor, evidently does not see it that way.

Partin told the media outlet that Jedidiah Hall was a former park ranger who had been training for a job with the Tennessee Highway Patrol. When his wife’s antics came to light he pulled out of the program. Now, he’s a deputy in Coffee County but it will likely be hard to live down his wife’s actions and hold his head high ever again.

“I have offered and extended to him any resource that he needs. And all he says is, ‘Sheriff, I just want to work for the citizens of Coffee County and I love what I’m doing,'” Partin commented, according to the Daily Mail.

“I don’t condone what went on at the LaVergne Police Department but he sure hasn’t broken any laws. He’s the victim here. There’s not a blemish on his record. He is doing a phenomenal, phenomenal job,” the sheriff added.

An internal investigation by the LaVergne Police Department reported that Magliocco said Jedidiah Hall had become upset at a party when Maegan Hall started kissing Magliocco’s wife.

Jedidiah “really wasn’t on board” with his wife taking part in a threesome, according to Magliocco.

Magliocco is also concerned over Hall’s mental state. He says she is prone to heavy drinking and recounted that one time she pointed an empty gun at her head and pulled the trigger “so she could hear what it sounded like.”

He also reported that Hall had voiced “harmful thoughts” and on multiple occasions said that she should not be alone.

“I don’t want to discuss it, I’m just going to move on and live my life,” Hall, 26, told the Daily Mail.

“The actions of a few do not represent the department as a whole,” Police Chief Burrel “Chip” Davis remarked after the sordid antics of his officers made national headlines.

This situation is unacceptable and as soon as it was brought to our attention it was immediately investigated and action was taken upon the individuals involved,” Mayor Jason Cole said in a statement. “Our top priority moving forward will include rebuilding the public’s trust.”
