Fauci claims he’s ‘clueless’ about what could be in ‘Fauci Files’ but says he can ‘defend’ himself

As more and more evidence of the government colluding with Big Tech to censor any actual scientific debate on all things COVID emerges — and as the safety of the COVID jabs is increasingly being called into question — Dr. Anthony Fauci insists he “can defend everything” he did over the course of the pandemic.

Fauci joined not-so-conservative Neil Cavuto on Fox News’s “Your World” on Friday and said he can explain everything.

“I can defend everything that I’ve said and done,” he blustered. “There was an explanation for it. This was a moving target right from the beginning and people need to appreciate that when something is obvious in January or February, that might not be the same in March, April, May, June, or the rest of the summer.”

“This has been an evolving problem,” the (thankfully) retired NIAID director continued. “We’ve been through multiple variants. We’ve had a number of different challenges. Having said all that, I have no problem with defending what we did.”

Yes, the virus has mutated, as viruses are wont to do, but in early 2021, the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization issued a 66-page document titled “Adverse Events of Special Interest and Adverse Events Following Immunization during COVID-19 Vaccine Introduction,” in which everything from Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS), enhanced COVID-19 disease, coagulation disorder, and, yes, “acute cardiac injury” — specifically, myocarditis — were listed among a host of other horrors as potential problems, and we don’t recall Dr. Fauci printing it out and passing it out to potential patients when he pushed the jabs, informed consent be damned.

And with Twitter CEO Elon Musk promising to release what has been dubbed “The Fauci Files,” the not-so-good doctor will likely have much more to defend than he did when government agencies were able to run COVID cover for him on social media.

What’s more, Republican lawmakers such as Sen. Rand Paul have vowed to hold Fauci’s feet to the fire in hearings on the origins of COVID-19.

Musk has made no secret of his feelings for Fauci.

In December, he tweeted, “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci.”

And Fauci is still acting as though he is bewildered by the scorn he rightly receives.

“I have no idea what he’s talking about…I wish I did,” Fauci told Cavuto of Musk’s comments. “I’m clueless about what he’s referring to. He’s talking about the ‘Fauci Files,’ was supposed to come out last week. We’re now at the end of this week. I just don’t understand what he’s doing.”

“A lot of people are spouting out a lot of things about me and Twitter,” Fauci said. “I don’t have a Twitter account. I’ve never had a Twitter account. I don’t intend on having a Twitter account and I’ve had nothing to do with Twitter…I don’t know what they’re talking about when they say that…I just don’t. I’m puzzled.”

Online, Twitter users believe he will soon change his sanctimonious tune.

“When the searchlight is turned on him,” said one user, “it will be a different story.”
