Hunter tied to Biden garage; footage shows boxes from Jay Leno show with Joe and his Corvette

A full-blown crisis has struck the White House after a second batch of classified documents were discovered in a Delaware home belonging to President Joe Biden, and making matters worse for the suddenly embattled leader, his scandal-plagued son Hunter had access to the garage where both the materials and his prized Corvette sports car were stored.

On Thursday, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced that the Justice Department had launched a full-blown investigation into the documents taken into custody by FBI agents after they were found in late December, appointing a special counsel amid heightened scrutiny after the regime raided former President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home to confiscate classified materials last summer.

Documents show that the younger Biden, who is currently under federal investigation for his tax and business dealings and is facing probes by a new Republican House majority with subpoena power, claimed that he owned the Wilmington house where the documents were stored, listing the address as his own on a background screening form that was tweeted out by Miranda Devine of the New York Post and checking the box that he was the owner.

Additional documents that were reviewed and verified by Fox News Digital show that Hunter Biden also used the home’s address as his permanent residence on his credit card and Apple accounts.

The elder Biden boasted to former late-night television personality and automobile enthusiast Jay Leno that his two sons, Hunter and the deceased Beau, had gotten the engine rebuilt on the 1967 muscle car, a Corvette Stingray, as a Christmas gift to their dad.

The vehicle was given to Biden by his own father who was a car dealer as a wedding gift before his first marriage.

‘I was getting married in August of ’67. My dad didn’t have a lot of money but he ran the largest Chevrolet dealership in the state for years. So, there’s 75 people outside the dealership. We pull up, they spread. My dad says, ‘This is my wedding gift,”‘ he told the host on a 2016 episode of “Jay Leno’s Garage” where he and Leno took the car on a spin.

The then-vice president and Hunter gave a joint interview to Popular Mechanics to discuss their love of cars in June 2016 as Biden was wrapping up his eight years as the top underling to Barack Obama.

“I’m gonna embarrass Hunt,” Biden said. “My fondest memory of that Corvette, I guess he was a little over three years old. You were sitting on my lap while I was driving—I know it’s bizarre now to say that. We lived out in a rural area, and we came to a stop sign on a country road. A beautiful day like today, and he’s sitting on my lap, and he turns around and puts his hand on my face and he says, ‘Daddy? Daddy? I love you more than the whole sky.'”

In a video posted by the Daily Mail, Biden is seen backing the vehicle into a garage filled with boxes, it is unclear as to whether they contained the documents.

As the White House was engulfed in a firestorm over the documents, Democrats circled the wagons to defend their party’s leader.

Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) who once suggested that Guam could tip over if there were too many people on the island, claimed that the documents may have been planted while praising Garland’s appointment of special counsel Robert Hur and dismissing the idea that Biden is guilty of the same thing that his administration accused Trump of.

“It is refreshing to see the Department of Justice restored from its politicization during the Trump years, and I applaud Attorney General Garland for acting swiftly in appointing a special counsel to investigate the Biden document discoveries,” Johnson said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital. “Based on what we know, there is a big difference between the Trump and Biden document cases.”

“At first, Trump lied about their very existence, while his lawyers asserted that there were no more documents. When Trump finally admitted that he knowingly took and possessed the classified documents, he refused numerous requests to return them. He even failed to comply with a subpoena,” the congressman added. “Classified documents were actually seized from Trump’s own desk. Moreover, there is no documentation supporting any claim that any of the Trump documents were declassified.”

Serial liar Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) also dismissed comparisons between Biden’s and Trump’s possession of classified materials.

“There are, as far as I can see, enormous differences between the situation with President Biden and the former president,” Schiff said. “Let’s not lose sight of the seriousness and the contrasting factors that we see with the case of the former president.”

“Was this inadvertent? It certainly appears that it was. Was there any evidence of obstruction? There certainly appears to be no evidence of that. Was there any evidence of a breach of the security of the documents? I’ve seen no evidence of that either,” he added.

Democratic Party kingmaker Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.), who was instrumental in delivering the black vote to Biden in 2020, also defended his staunch political ally.

“In this instance, they are dramatically different,” he said during an appearance on MSNBC. “The intent on the part of the president is not there, the cooperation on the part of the president is there. The exact opposite to what you had with the parallel of former President Trump.”

“This is the kind of thing that must be agreed upon by the public, and I don’t think you can get the public to agree about anything unless there’s complete openness,” Clyburn said of Garland’s decision to appoint the special counsel.
