Former President Donald J. Trump reacted strongly after news broke that “a small number” of classified documents were found in President Joe Biden’s former office at a Washington D.C. think tank that he used during the time when he was vice president, a discovery that raises issues of double standards along with hypocrisy after Attorney General Merrick Garland signed off on an unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago last summer to confiscate classified material from his residence.
In a bombshell report, The New York Times stated that the documents were found in early November “in a locked closet” by the current president’s lawyers as they were “packing files” at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement. The National Archives were notified the same day and retrieved the classified papers the next day, according to a White House statement.
“Officials did not describe precisely how many documents were involved, what kind of information they included or their level of classification,” the Times reported, informing readers that the shocking discovery could prompt Garland to appoint a special counsel and the nation’s top law enforcement official has assigned John R. Lausch Jr, the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois who was first appointed by Trump, “to look into the matter, according to two people familiar with the decision.”
“When is the FBI going to raid the many homes of Joe Biden, perhaps even the White House?” Trump wrote on Truth Social along with a link to a CBS News story that Lausch is reviewing the documents.

The FBI’s storming of Trump’s South Florida residence to retrieve materials that, unlike Biden, he had the power to declassify, was a major escalation in the regime’s war on the ex-POTUS, a raid that many have likened to something normally seen in a third-world banana republic and the coming days along with what Garland could serve as further validation for those who believe that there are two systems of justice in America, one for Democrats and another for their political adversaries.
“The discovery of these documents was made by the President’s attorneys,” Richard Sauber, special counsel to the president confirmed, according to CBS News. “The documents were not the subject of any previous request or inquiry by the Archives. Since that discovery, the President’s personal attorneys have cooperated with the Archives and the Department of Justice in a process to ensure that any Obama-Biden Administration records are appropriately in the possession of the Archives.”
Making matters worse for the nation’s 46th president are his own words after he blasted his predecessor on the Mar-a-Lago documents that were carefully arranged on the floor in an FBI photo that was then featured by major media sources to portray Trump in a negative manner. In a “60 Minutes” interview, Biden slammed Trump as “irresponsible” and suggested that the documents could have compromised sources and methods.

Biden, who is currently in Mexico for the North American Leaders’ Summit, refused to answer a question on the purloined documents after a reporter put him on the spot as he sat at a table next to Garland and other regime officials.

Republicans took to Twitter to react to Biden’s squirreling away of the classified documents.

Biden stole classified documents and stored them at his think tank while he was VP.
The VP does not have any authority to declassify classified documents.
And this “think tank” received $54 million in funding from the CCP.

Re. Biden and classified documents: there can't be separate standards for Republicans and Democrats.
The same rules must apply to everyone.

BREAKING: Classified documents from Joe Biden’s Vice Presidential days found at his private office.
When will the FBI raid his home?

Joe Biden took classified documents from the White House when he was Vice President.
The VP does NOT have the power to declassify, only POTUS.
Joe Biden stole classified documents.
This is a very serious crime.
DOJ & NARA can’t sweep this under the rug AND persecute Trump.

It’s been revealed that classified documents were found inside Joe Biden’s private office.
Why were they there, why wasn’t the Justice Department looking for these documents, and who had access to them?

It’s just been discovered that Biden had HIGHLY CLASSIFIED DOCUMENTS that were improperly stored in one of his private offices. INCREDIBLE! WHERE is the FBI? WHERE is the dramatic raid? We have two systems of justice in this country: one for them and one for us.

When will the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team storm one of Biden’s many vacation homes bought and paid for somehow by a lifetime of being a humble public servant? https://t.co/6qfXdxePll

The only possible way to ensure Joe Biden has no more illegal documents from his vice-presidency is for the FBI to raid all of his residences and seize anything they want, including his passports. Our democracy is at stake, anything less and we could all die.

“How ironic,” said Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) who is set to head up the powerful House Oversight Committee. “Now we learn that Joe Biden had documents that are considered classified. I wonder, is the National Archives going to trigger a raid of the White House tonight? Or of the Biden Center?”
“So now we’re going to take that information that we requested on the Mar-a-Lago raid, and we’re going to expand it to include the documents that Joe Biden has,” the GOP lawmaker added.
Whether Garland acts or not, the new Republican House majority now has another item to add to its jam-packed agenda as the long overdue investigations of Biden and his administration are set to begin.
