President Joe Biden officially signed off on the massive, pork-stuffed $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill after it was delivered to him as he vacationed in the tropical climate of the US Virgin Islands, even as large parts of the nation were devastated by a historic winter storm.
On Thursday, the 4,000 + page monstrosity that was ostensibly to keep the government funded but in reality was chock full of special interest giveaways – more money for Ukraine and liberal wish list items including gun control measures – was flown to St. Croix where the deeply unpopular leader was holed up at a billionaire Democrat donor’s beachside mansion.
The bill was delivered to the Virgin Islands around 5:40 pm ET on Thursday evening on a Spirit Airlines flight out of Ft. Lauderdale and was promptly transported to the opulent home where the Biden family was spending the holidays and where dear leader broke out his pen to finish the job of the latest “bipartisan” looting spree.
“Today, I signed the bipartisan omnibus bill, ending a year of historic progress,” Biden crowed via Twitter. “It’ll invest in medical research, safety, veteran health care, disaster recovery, VAWA funding – and gets crucial assistance to Ukraine. Looking forward to more in 2023.”

Biden’s Christmastime getaway to the Caribbean vacation paradise drew plenty of criticism, much of it directed at a media that savaged Republican Senator Ted Cruz who vacationed with his family in Mexico earlier this year as Texas was slammed by a rare weather event that brought frigid temperatures and power outages to the Lone Star State.
Remember that time Ted Cruz was the worst person in the world for being in Cancun with his family during a giant freeze in Texas, while Joe Biden just took off for St. Croix and Eric Adams to the Virgin Islands during the worst freezing weather event in decades, to media shrugs?

Biden is so concerned about climate change, he's flying the Omnibus bill to St. Croix so he can sign it in the Caribbean…when he could've delayed his vacation for two days and signed it in DC.
But we all need to cut our emissions, or something https://t.co/1OGlZKSmx2

Joe Biden jet setting off to St. Croix for his weekly vacation instead of staying in DC for one extra day to sign the omnibus bill, causing it to now have to be flown by private jet to the Caribbean, is the perfect description of our government. It gets no better than that.

Not only did Biden skip the country during a major winter storm that killed dozens, he didn’t sign the federal gov’s funding bill before he left. Now the gov has to waste tens of thousands flying the bill to St. Croix for his signature.
And Democrats continue to defend it. https://t.co/yWPYu4Un6d

On Fox News’ popular daytime show “Outnumbered,” the panel members blasted the double standard regarding Biden and New York City Mayor Eric Adams who also flew the coop during the natural disaster, albeit not to stay at the home of one of his party’s high rollers.
‘The double standard that I live with every single day: As a doctor, I can’t accept a pen or a lunch or anything from patients, from vendors, from anyone,” said Fox News medical contributor Dr. Nicole Saphier. “But yet President Biden is able to fly private to a Caribbean island and stay at a billionaire donor’s house. That is a double standard that I am not OK with.”

“As a journalist, I also cannot take anything…,” said Fox Business reporter Lauren Simonetti. “The president of the United States, with multiple crises, is at a billionaire Democratic donor’s St. Croix mansion with this family celebrating. OK, he needs a break, too, it’s Christmas. They’re probably deciding: Should he run for president again? But he’s been on vacation a lot. So I’m thinking, ‘Oh, Lauren, if you ever run for office’ — which will never be the case — ‘don’t ever take a vacation because you get criticized for it.’ But we have a president who seems to be on vacation…”
Despite the horrific mess that is the nation’s air travel system due to thousands of cancellations as a result of the brutal weather, Biden and his clan had no problem getting to his swanky destination in St. Croix, bypassing clogged airports on Air Force One.

The signing of the omnibus bill capped off the year with a big victory for Biden, a major win that would not have been possible was it not for the help of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and his gang of RINO turncoats who sold out their own constituents to deliver the goods for the big guy.
