Southwest’s pain is Twitter’s gain as alleged luggage thief Sam Brinton inspires hilarious new memes

As Americans struggle to cope with their flight plans being delayed and/or canceled, one can always rely on Twitter to turn a bad situation into a joke.

Sam Brinton, the former Office of Nuclear Energy deputy assistant who was fired after being accused of stealing luggage from two different airports, has become the subject of a new set of memes alongside Southwest Airlines.

Maybe these jokes will help some people get through the dreaded wait at their local airport.
