Americans have always traditionally embraced and loved Christmas, but leftist parents and media figures are now aggressively attacking the holiday, criticizing the Christian traditions that go along with the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

Some Gen Z parents are killing off Santa Claus, proclaiming they will not allow their children to believe that he is real, according to Fox News. They are using the hashtag #santaisntreal to get the point across. These parents are laughably asserting that once their children find out Santa is only a myth, they’ll be “traumatized.”
One mother named Sierra McKenzie went viral on TikTok because she announced she wouldn’t be “lying to them [her kids] about Santa.” She also refused to take them for pictures with Santa or include any presents under the tree that are from Santa Claus.
“Telling kids that Santa is real is a lie, and I don’t believe in building my kids up on a lie,” McKenzie told the New York Post in an interview. “Your kids can still enjoy the magic of Christmas without believing in Santa.”
The grinchiness continued with another mother named Chloe Amelle who says she won’t be labeling presents as “from Santa” under her tree, because she doesn’t like “the idea of lieing [sic]” to her kids or worrying they would get “’better’ things from Santa than other kids,” according to her TikTok video.
@the.sierramckenzie Are you doing Santa in your house?? You can still enjoy Christmas without santa #christmas #momtok #momsoftiktok ♬ original sound – Alien
Laura Jackel, who is a mother and family writer, wrote a piece for MamaMia listing the six Christmas traditions she plans on canceling this year.
“Do my kids actually want to wear the matching festive pyjamas?” she asked in her article. “Do I care to traipse around the shops searching for nice ones in their size so they can take part in this weird tradition sponsored by capitalism?”
Jackel is also getting rid of “Elf on the Shelf” and advises parents to tell their children that “Santa recalled your elf to help with present sorting or that it… died.”
She’s also nixing “sending cards to anyone outside immediate family,” “the forced Santa photo,” and “purchasing festive snacks.”
The hatred of Santa and Christmas is all over Twitter too with seriously damaged people dissing the holiday.
Father Christmas is a myth. No more real than Peppa Pig. We should respect children enough to always be honest with them. #SantaIsntReal

santa claus is a made up fat white guy who isnt real, yet is the face of Christmas. kids believe in santa claus and think hes real, most times when kids find out santa isnt real they cry. that is probably the biggest example of fiction affecting reality

Santa isnt real, Christmas is a Pagan holiday and Jesus wasnt born on Dec, 25th! I told my kids the truth.

Fox News contributor Joe Concha was shocked at the anti-Christmas sentiment and said he never expected parents to open a new front in the “War on Christmas … in the name of virtue signaling.”
“And thanks to the media and woke corporations, we’re stuck with this constant barrage of political correctness, and it’s getting annoying,” he told Fox News.
Traditional Christmas movies and shows are also getting trashed by leftists.
NBC News culture critic Ani Bundel slammed Apple TVs “Spirited” and Netflix’s “Scrooge: A Christmas Carol” for their “insistence on preaching this secular myth of the billionaire turned benefactor at a time when the news is full of stories to the contrary” which indicates “both musical adaptations hit the wrong key.”
Excited to pick a Christmas tree tomorrow at Bk Term Market. Will be oversized, occupy my living room, and block my view to the TV. Well worth it! Great time of year in NYC #christmas2022 #Santa. Also, I hope anyone who tweets #SantaIsntReal has the runs 💩 all night..oh wait..🎅🏽

“In a year when it seems nearly every monopolistic company is laying off workers, the cathartic comeuppance of a hard-hearted billionaire makes cultural sense,” she sneered. “But neither film is willing to even admit its cruel corporate czar is a bad person, as if the producers fear insulting the rich men who run their respective streaming services.”
Actor Tim Allen is also getting bashed for the new Disney+ series “The Santa Clauses,” which is a reprisal of “The Santa Claus” movies, for a line where Santa says, “Saying Merry Christmas to all has suddenly become problematic!”

Filmmaker Scott Weinberg had a leftist meltdown over it, calling the line a “truly weird thing to put in a kid’s series.”
“[It’s] not some random campaign. it’s a low-key effort to vilify anyone who doesn’t celebrate this holiday,” Weinberg nastily tweeted. “in a grown-up movie I’d just groan and ignore it.”
Meanwhile, there are those pushing back on the anti-Christmas moves.
Twitter users called out Democrat Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers for referring to the state’s Christmas tree as the “2022 Capitol Holiday Tree.”
And just like that, the 2022 Capitol Holiday Tree is lit.
This year’s tree may be a Balsam fir, but I think it’s safe to say the ornaments from kids across Wisconsin really helped 𝙨𝙥𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙚 things up in the Capitol this holiday season! 🎄 pic.twitter.com/FePUJWrRfZ

This has gone on for years now and is nothing new but it is ratcheting up.
The debate over the classic Christmas song, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” is still ridiculously raging. Many call it date-rapey, citing lyrics such as, “Say, what’s in this drink?” “Ya mind if I move in closer?” and “Gosh your lips look delicious.”
