Trump offers update on Nick Fuentes dining story amid media frenzy; Biden bites tongue

Corporate media sought to extend the hubbub surrounding the reportedly uninvited Nick Fuentes dining with his “hero,” former President Donald Trump, Saturday when they pressed President Joe Biden for comment who offered a one-line response.

Engaged in their favored pastime of smearing Trump, progressives have found ample fodder in rapper Kanye West’s recent sit down at the former president’s Florida residence at Mar-a-Lago; especially since his arrival included an unexpected entourage that featured the controversial Fuentes, who has been considered a Neo-Nazi, white nationalist and holocaust denier. While Biden was out in Nantucket during his Thanksgiving getaway, multiple reporters asked him to weigh in on the meeting.

Josh Wingrove of Bloomberg shared a clip where after being asked, “Mr. President, what do you think of Donald Trump having dinner with a white nationalist?” the followup, “What do you say, sir?” was answered, “You don’t want to hear what I think.”

Biden’s tough-guy persona left some on social media drawing their own conclusion as to what the president believed to suit their own narratives while Fuentes was taking the opportunity to promote his own ideas.

In Friday’s episode of his podcast, “America First,” the 24-year-old Fuentes somewhat defended Trump’s reputation when he expressed, “I don’t think he knew that I was me at the dinner.”

“I said, ‘I love you.’ He really has been a hero of mine,” he went on during the more than two-hour program, but that didn’t stop him from bad-mouthing what another term for Trump would look like as he also went on record calling for policies further to the right to be promoted as part of what a preferred candidate would tout in a 2024 presidential run.

“We’ve been told for years we have to favor an incremental, quietist approach,” Fuentes said. “You know what? Five hundred miles of 18-foot bollard fence? Not a real victory. USMCA, not a real victory…we want a real victory, a real transformation of society.”

The young man also brought Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the mix as he blamed establishment types like House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel for using Trump “as bait to lure the base back into supporting” them.

“When I say that Trump vs DeSantis is the wrong ‘dialectic’…I mean that they are both inferior to the campaign that Trump ran in 2016,” Fuentes argued. “DeSantis is a moderate and he would moderate Trump: lose-lose. We need Trump and a new candidate who will outflank him on his right.”

Meanwhile, Trump had offered his explanation of the meeting and how, while he hadn’t invited Fuentes, he was accommodating for West’s company when the rapper had been seeking advice “concerning some of his difficulties, in particular having to do with his business. We also discussed, to a lesser extent, politics, where I told him he should definitely not run for President, ‘any voters you may have should vote for TRUMP.”

As the media was continuing to harp on the subject, Trump opined again Saturday and posted to Truth Social, “So I help a seriously troubled man, who just happens to be black, Ye (Kanye West), who has been decimated in his business and virtually everything else, and who has always been good to me, by allowing his request for a meeting at Mar-a-Lago, alone, so that I can give him very much needed ‘advice.’ He shows up with 3 people, two of which I didn’t know, the other a political person who I haven’t seen in years. I told him don’t run for office, a total waste of time, can’t win. Fake News went CRAZY!”
