CNN co-host Don Lemon took a suggestive swipe at Elon Musk after the mogul humorously used a meme depicting an attractive young woman bending over with a Twitter logo on her behind, imploring a pious monk or Jesus, labeled as Donald Trump, to come back to Twitter.

Musk had previously stated that he intended to reinstate former President Trump on Twitter. The 45th president was originally banned from the platform after sending out tweets following the January 6 riot claiming that the election was fraudulent.
Over the weekend, the Twitter CEO ran a poll asking users if they wanted him back on Twitter. Users voted to reinstate Trump and Musk made it official, inviting him back Sunday to the social media platform. Trump then rebuffed the invitation as only he can.
The Daily Mail reported that via video call-in to the first major cattle call for the Republican nomination for the presidency in 2024, which took place in Las Vegas over the weekend, Trump said he’d heard Musk’s poll was getting a big response. He also said that he doesn’t “see any reason for it,” in reference to returning to Twitter.
“They have a lot of problems at Twitter. You see what’s going on. It may make it, it may not make it, but the problems are incredible and the engagements are negative,” the former president stated.

“You have a lot of bots and you have a lot of fake accounts, which I think they should get on. But Truth Social has taken the place for a lot of people and I don’t see them going back onto Twitter,” Trump remarked.
“CNN This Morning” gleefully attacked Musk’s seduction of Trump on Monday morning, once again affirming they have absolutely no sense of humor. They fixated on his vow to not reinstate any accounts until they’d been looked at by a “Content Moderation Board” and how advertisers were allegedly jumping ship because Musk doesn’t believe in censorship.
“There’s a desperation aspect to this,” Lemon proclaimed, enthusiastically smearing Musk. “It seems really desperate, or what we say in the vernacular now, thirst?”

“This provocative image that he tweeted, I think was it, Jesus, you know there someone tempting Jesus, a woman…,” Lemon hypocritically played up, attempting to disparage the billionaire.
Leftist journalist Audie Cornish weighed in on the image CNN producers decided not to air, ridiculously implying some sort of morality at the network.

“This is a sexualized image that he’s posting, and I think it’s a really good example of the thirsting you’re talking about, which is ‘Look at me! Look at me! Eyes on this, advertisers,” she stated, taking a jab at Musk.
The panel seemed incensed that Musk does not have to answer to a board or shareholders and is running his company the way he sees fit.
Despite all the hand-wringing on CNN and the charges of Musk wanting attention and being desperate for ad revenue, Twitter is still up and running and more people than ever are hitting the site. Perhaps Musk actually knows what he is doing.
