AOC ‘absolutely’ believes her life is in danger, is desperate to leave ‘a roadmap’ for those who follow

The hate-filled, intolerant left has arguably created the most toxic political environment in modern political history, regularly demonizing their opponents as domestic terrorists and Nazis for little more than disagreeing with their failed neo-Marxist agenda, with President Joe Biden going so far as to call Republicans a “threat to America.”

Yet, it is in this environment, aided and abetted by U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., if not instigated, that the self-described democratic socialist declared that she “absolutely” believes that her life is in danger as a member of Congress, telling CNN’s Chris Wallace that her head must always be “on a swivel” when mingling with the great unwashed public.

“It is a very real dynamic and very unfortunately and tragically we’ve seen political violence play out,” AOC said during an appearance on “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?”

“When I wake up in the morning, I hesitate to walk my dog. It means when I come home, I have to ask my fiancé to come out to where my car is to walk me just from my car to my front door,” she said. “It means that there’s just – a general disposition where you kind of feel like there’s almost a static electricity around you.”

Quick to play the victim, Ocasio-Cortez takes no responsibility for ginning up the “static electricity.” One recent example being to openly question how a Republican colleague treats the women in his life in private over his line of questioning at a House Oversight Committee hearing.

Yet, CNN Politics bemoans how Ocasio-Cortez’s “progressive credentials have made her the ire of many congressional Republicans and their supporters.”

Billing herself as a martyr, AOC talked about the need to be “as robust and urgent as possible.”

“I don’t know if I’m going to be there to see us achieve guaranteed health care in the United States. So I need to advocate it in a very fully throated way right now,” she proclaimed. “Similar to a full path to citizenship for millions of people in this country. I just have to be out and say it and at least leave a roadmap should I not be there.”

Betraying her anti-capitalist side, Ocasio-Cortez talked about Democratic Party leadership needing to be less reliant on large and corporate donors and sponsorship, and made it clear that, in her opinion, there is only one extreme side in American politics when Wallace asked her about whether there’s a need for both parties to move from the fringes back to the center.

“I think a lot of people in this country may say yes, but it’s important for us to dig into the substance of what that actually means,” she said. “As someone who is often, I think, characterized as extreme. I, of course, would object to that. I do not believe that I am as extreme in the way that Marjorie Taylor Greene on the Republican side is extreme.”

“The idea that there is an equating of believing in someone who believes in guaranteed universal health care in the United States with someone who believes that undocumented people should incur physical harm are somehow in the same level of extreme is something that I would object to,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

The remark betrays the extremism she denies, as AOC takes us full circle as she manipulates the words and position of an opponent to demonize that person as someone pushing violence.
