Former Major League Baseball star Lenny Dykstra is using his Twitter account to mock Jill Biden for supposedly dashing the World Series hopes of the Philadelphia Phillies and their fans by her mere presence at Citizens Bank Ballpark, the latter’s home field.
The day after the elimination game, Dykstra — who played eight seasons for the Phillies after his trade from the New York Mets — playfully wrote that “Since the doctor showed up, the #Phillies went 0-3 with 9 total hits. #TheCooler.”
The cooler is a gambling term for someone who prompts a streak of bad luck equivalent to a jinx.
The Houston Astros wrapped up the World Series on Saturday evening with a 4-1 victory over the Phillies, and in so doing, won the Fall Classic by four games to two, which included throwing only the second no-hitter in the history of the championship round.
It was also the first combined no-hitter, i.e., with more than one pitcher on the mound. The no-no was also a momentum changer that returned the home-field advantage to Houston with the Phillies having already won two games.
The Astros won three consecutive games on the way to earning their 2022 championship rings.

In what could give a new meaning to the blame game, he similarly opined that “Better luck next time, #Phillies. Might be better off rolling out that red carpet for Lenny Dykstra instead of Dr. Jill Biden. (9 hits in 3 games since she showed up.).”

The Stand Up to Cancer organization, which funds and develops the newest and most promising cancer treatments, thanked Mrs. Biden for her presence at the game.
It fills our hearts to see @Phillies and @Astros players and fans Standing Up – united – in support for those affected by cancer. ❤️
A special thank you to @FLOTUS and all those who honored a loved one during Game 4 of the @MLB #WorldSeries. #StandUpToCancer pic.twitter.com/KNzwZMw0Fm

Jill Biden reportedly arrived at Game 4 in the fifth inning and joined the Stand Up to Cancer ceremony at the venue.
“She arrived to the stadium just before the tribute, which occurred after the Astros scored five runs in the inning to take a 5-0 lead. The team didn’t look back from there,” Fox News recalled.
Jill Biden was in Philadelphia when the Phillies were the victim of the second no hit in World Series history. Joe Biden was in Philly when the city lost two professional sports championships on the same day. The Biden’s are a curse on the city of Philadelphia.

Dykstra, 59, who has encountered a series of well-documented legal problems off the field that included serving jail time, joked on Monday that when he takes over as Phillies manager next season, Jill Biden will be banned for life from the stadium.
That’s unlikely to happen, not the least of which is because, in October, ownership gave manager Rob Thomson a two-year contract extension.
Parenthetically, although the ex-center fielder referred to Mrs. Biden as a doctor, she has an education doctorate equivalent to a Ph.D. and no training in the healing arts.
Yes, when I accept the position, there will be a lifetime ban from Citizens Bank Park for Dr. Jill Biden. https://t.co/A4dA9efybV

Nicknamed “Nails” during his playing days for his on-field toughness and aggressive persona, Dykstra was a three-time MLB All-Star who was a member of the Mets 1986 World Series champion team. He recorded a career batting average of .285 in professional baseball.
Judging by his satirical social media messaging, including this photoshopping, Dykstra hardly seems to be a fan of the FLOTUS or her husband.

With 106 regular-season victories prior to their playoff run, the latter of which included eliminating the so-called Evil Empire (the New York Yankees), the American League champion and now World Series champion Houston Astros were and are clearly the best team in baseball.
The Phillies made the post-season by winning one of the National League Wild Card slots and going on a hot streak.
Separately, Philadelphia sports fans have a reputation for vociferousness. Last month, for example, Jill Biden made an appearance as an honorary captain for the Philadelphia Eagles and was reportedly loudly booed as she took the field.
