Oprah Winfrey may be offering endorsements for “brand management,” but with a legendary reputation that spawned its own style of jokes, Chuck Norris’ picks for the midterms left some suggesting he “commanded…this is how it’s going to be.”
United States Air Force Veteran, martial artist, actor and author, Norris’ storied career took on a life of its own with amusing claims like, “Death once had a near-Chuck Norris experience” and “COVID quarantined after coming in contact with Chuck Norris.” On Monday, he used his considerable mythos and conservative values to back Republican candidates across the country, including Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters.
“Blake Masters, U.S. Senate candidate for Arizona, has far better leadership credentials and skills than his political opponent to help all Arizonians,” Norris wrote in a piece for WND titled, “Beat the border crisis at the ballot box!”
Masters’ campaign proudly displayed the endorsement on social media and it wasn’t long before comments began flooding in.

“Chuck Norris does not simply endorse a candidate–he informs them of the result before anyone else knows it,” Robby Starbuck wrote in reaction to the line with Greg Price opining, “Chuck Norris didn’t endorse Blake Masters. He commanded to Arizona that this is how it’s going to be.”

Chuck Norris doesn’t do endorsements because an endorsement allows for the possibility that the candidate might not win. Chuck Norris decides who is going to win and that’s the end of it.

Chuck Norris doesn’t make endorsements. He simply TELLS everyone who is going to win. 😉

Norris, who spent the majority of his blog relaying the severity of the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border with the statistics to back it up went on to state, “That is why I emphatically state that there is only one ultimate solution to fix our border crisis: Get the liberal Democrats out of office across the country as soon as possible. And, in just one week, the midterm elections allow us that opportunity to roundhouse kick them out the door!”
Some respondents pit the celebrity endorsements which also included Senate candidates JD Vance in Ohio, Herschel Walker in Georgia, Ted Budd in North Carolina, Joe O’Dea in Colorado, and Dr. Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania against the Democratic-backing from Oprah Winfrey.
While Norris had presented a factual argument for his endorsements, Winfrey had seemingly resorted to feelings and even the protection of her own image as a CNN panel referred to her endorsement of Lt. Gov. John Fetterman over Oz as “brand management” after having “created” Oz.
Hey @Oprah I’ll see your endorsement and raise you one Chuck Norris. https://t.co/T1Sm3hpwWb

Others picked up on the impact Norris’ endorsement would have and suggested things like, “Legend has it that Chuck Norris’s endorsement alone cured inflation.”

Norris, who had backed presidential candidates like former Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and then former Rep. Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) in 2012 also hinted at where his allegiance would be in 2024 should a certain governor decide to run.
“It goes without saying what an incredible job Gov. Ron DeSantis is doing in Florida. He is the complete definition of a level 5 leader,” a concept championed by business research Jim Collins, “and should be reelected without hesitation. He also would make an exceptional presidential candidate, whether now or in the future,” Norris wrote.
