After Musk fully owns AOC, she complains that her Twitter account is ‘conveniently’ broken

The inevitable reaction of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to changes at Twitter proposed by new boss Elon Musk is in and the socialist diva is not pleased over the idea that a monthly charge could be levied against the blue checks who are accustomed to enjoying very special privileges on the platform.

The billionaire Space X/Tesla CEO triggered leftists with the idea of the meager $8 per month fee for the esteemed verification checkmark, tweeting that “Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bullsh*t. “Power to the people! Blue for $8/month.”

A number of big names have already threatened to leave if they have to fork out a few bucks with the attention-craving New York City Democrat tossing in her usual ridiculous two cents.

“Lmao at a billionaire earnestly trying to sell people on the idea that “free speech” is actually a $8/mo subscription plan,” wrote AOC on Tuesday.

On Wednesday afternoon, Twitter’s new boss responded.

“Your feedback is appreciated, now pay $8,” he wrote.

Not to be outdone, Ocasio-Cortez shot back, uncorking a conspiracy theory that certain features of her Twitter account had been “conveniently” disabled because “I seem to have gotten under a certain billionaire’s skin.”

Musk, who has moved on from “Chief Twit” to “Twitter Complaint Hotline Operator” in an update to his own profile defended his proposal to implement a charge for blue checks.

“To all complainers, please continue complaining, but it will cost $8.” he tweeted.

Later, he wrote “you get what you pay for,” with a “spoiler alert” emoji.

The new boss also engaged in some wonderful mockery of the whiners, with an epic image lampooning crybaby blue checks who are happy to pay $8 for one of Starbucks’ overpriced drinks that can be sucked down in 30 minutes but are throwing temper tantrums over the $8 for 30 days, or around a measly .27 cents a day.

He also rubbed salt into the wounded psyches of butthurt blue checks, posting a cartoon of the NPC (non-playable character) meme that has been effectively used to caricature members of the leftist hive mind who demonstrate little ability or inclination to form their own independent thoughts outside of the collective.

The fee proposed by Musk has been met with much grumbling, including from multimillionaire “master of horror” Stephen King, a big-time cheapskate who groused over the idea of having to pay a rumored $20 for his blue check status.

It’s been a whirlwind week at the San Francisco-based social media giant since Musk closed his $44 billion deal to buy the company, promptly firing top brass including CEO Parag Agrawal, chief censor Vijaya Gadde, CFO Ned Segal and general counsel Sean Edgett as well as dismissing the board and becoming “sole director” as he left the blue checks fuming even before he gave notice that their free ride will soon be coming to an end.

It’s not the first time that Ocasio-Cortez has mixed it up with Musk, as earlier this year, the former bartender turned celebrity left-wing firebrand suggested that she might dump her beloved Tesla after the billionaire correctly tabbed Democrats as the “party of division and hate.”

If the last week is any indication, the “Chief Twit” is going to have leftists screaming at the sky, especially the haughty blue checks who must feel like their ant hill has been stomped on.
