An antisemitic watchdog group called out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after the socialist diva attacked a Jewish group with a long history of bipartisan support for attacking “democracy” over its support for the Republican opponent of a Democrat congressional candidate with a history of animosity toward Israel.
The New York City Democrat, whose tiresome act is wearing thin on constituents who have shown up in increasing numbers to call her out at pre-midterm election town halls, got her panties in a bunch over the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), a powerful lobbying organization that advocated on behalf of America’s very special relationship with Israel and its direct mail campaign against progressive Summer Lee in the race for a seat in Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District.
“Shamefully, AIPAC is working for Republican control of Congress and further destabilization of US democracy,” wrote the former bartender turned political rock star, calling for her followers to rally for Lee or donate their time and money to her campaign.

Let’s rally for @SummerForPA. Help her out with a volunteer shift or donation today: https://t.co/1nmtjs8lo6 https://t.co/oA88VUoUSv

The attention-craving congresswoman, whose fellow “Squad” members Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Rashida Tlaib have a history of antisemitic rhetoric and vocal support for terrorist groups, was called out by Liora Rez who serves as the executive director for Jewish hatred watchdog StopAntisemitism.org.
Rez told Fox News Digital that Ocasio-Cortez’s use of her immense social media clout to launch a disgusting attack on AIPAC only contributed to antisemitism in America.
“The thinly veiled intent behind AOC’s tweet to vilify a Jewish organization is crystal clear and further contributes to the vilification of American Jews,” she told the outlet. “AOC’s intentional isolation of AIPAC and her failure to call out the numerous bipartisan and left-leaning groups working to keep Justice Democrat candidate Summer Lee out of office shows her true colors.”
Ocasio-Cortez also struck a nerve with Twitter users over her insinuation that the organization which supports the only democracy in the volatile and violent Middle East would work to undermine it in the United States.
Only ‘shame’ is on you AOC for your blatant lie! @AIPAC is bi-partisan organization that supports both Democrats and Republicans, who are pro-Israel, because that is also good policy and in America’s interest. Maybe that’s the part that you have issue with!

Shame on you. You know that AIPAC is a one issue organization which supports candidates on both sides of the aisle who agree with it on that issue — including many progressive candidates of color.
Also, have you passed any significant legislation yet? Any? None, right?

@AOC – a true antisemite through and through! https://t.co/hTmjYdcKYj

AIPAC doesn’t care which party controls congress. AIPAC cares that we have members of congress who represent our values as Americans and supporters of Israel.

@AOC stirring up that left wing antisemitism again.
Scratch a progressive, find a Jew hater. https://t.co/mtZaCDsdvY— General Catton (@TheGenCatton) November 1, 2022
AIPAC has the right to donate whatever they support. So what is your problem??
— David Michalowski (@DMMMedia) November 1, 2022
@AIPAC is NOT working for “Republican control”. They are supporting a bipartisan slate of representatives who support the legitimate State of Israel- which in this case your wannabe Squad member is not. For you to conflate this with Jews trying to control who takes Congress reeks

You and your “squad” are rabid antisemites. Many people despise you and see through your shallow act. Even your own constituents who voted for you can’t stand you anymore.

Wow.
I was told we were the antisemites.
Accusing a Jewish organization of "subverting democracy"
You know who else did that?? https://t.co/EiVytcresK

The Democrats’ big circus tent has expanded to be a welcoming place for all manner of freaks and sexual degenerates which is par for the course but the recent tolerance for those with antisemitic views is just another sign of how far the party has strayed from its iconic figures like FDR and JFK, neither of whom would be members in good standing today.
“StopAntisemitism is a grassroots watchdog organization dedicated to exposing groups and individuals that espouse incitement towards the Jewish people and State and engage in antisemitic behaviors,” the organization states on its website. “Founded in 2018, StopAntisemitism was born in response to increasing antisemitic violence and sentiment across the United States.”
