Obama calls for ‘basic civility’ as heckler interrupts MI rally – crowd responds with chants of ‘get him!’

Former President Barack Obama took his road show to the motor city where he sought to whip up enthusiasm among black voters, a demographic that it is imperative to get to the polls if his party is to have any chance of holding on to one-party rule, and things nearly got ugly when a crowd clamored for violence against a heckler.

On Saturday, Obama was delivering his stump speech on behalf of Michigan Democrats – including lockdown queen Gov. Gretchen Whitmer – when he made a despicable effort to paint the beating of Paul Pelosi as an act of political violence despite no evidence to support the claim that has nonetheless been seized upon by left-wing politicians and what many see as their winged monkeys in the media to portray Trump supporters as a danger to “our democracy.”

“And if election officials don’t do something more to reject that rhetoric, if they tacitly support it or courage their supporters to stand outside voting places armed with guns and dressed in tactical gear more people can get hurt,” Obama said, a remark having absolutely no relation to the Pelosi incident, and we’re going to be violating the basic spirit of this country.”

At that point, he was interrupted by a man in the crowd trying to ask a question.

“Sir, sir! Come on,” Obama said. “But this is what I mean. This is what I mean. We’re having a conversation,” as the crowd began to get unruly, loudly chanting his name in a creepy demonstration of a cult’s reverence for its dear leader, drowning out the man who was alone in hostile territory.

“Hey, so this is what I’m saying! Whoa,” said Obama continued over the din. “There is a process that we’ve set up in our democracy.”

“Right now I’m talking, you’ll have a chance to talk sometime,” he said, as his followers howled with their approval. “We don’t have to shout each other down, it’s not a good way to do business.”

“You wouldn’t do that in a workplace,” Obama scolded the man. “You wouldn’t just interrupt people in the middle of a conversation. It’s not how we do things and this is part of the point that I want to make,” he said as he wagged his finger.

“Just basic civility, and courtesy works,” said the man who has been instrumental in creating the poisonous political climate of today, particularly when it comes to fomenting racial animosity.

According to Mediaite, “On the live stream from the American Federation of Teachers on YouTube the loud shouting and comments from the crowd that can be heard included shouts like ‘Teach him Barack! Teach him!’ along with various shouts at the heckler to ‘get out’ or “get him out!’”

“The crowd noise escalated, with actual ‘get him!’ shouts as Obama, from the podium, attempted once more to restore order,” the outlet reported.

Fortunately, the man trying to ask the question was safely escorted out before the mob could rip him apart and Obama continued his speech to the faithful.
