Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is a political rock star and on Friday, the crowd went wild when the Sunshine State Republican made a surprise appearance onstage during a concert held to raise money for disaster relief after 155-mph monster storm Hurricane Ian cut a path of destruction across the peninsula last month.
DeSantis was given a rousing welcome by those in attendance at Jacksonville’s VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena when he was brought onstage by country music star Luke Bryan, however his presence wasn’t so warmly greeted by emotionally distraught, perpetually put-upon leftist ninnies who ground their teeth into nubs and angrily jabbed their fingers into the screens of their mobile devices, vowing that they would cancel the singer who was denounced as a bigot for appearing with DeSantis.
Video posted of the special moment went viral on Twitter as the audience went wild when DeSantis took the stage as fans expressed their gratitude for a man who defied the Biden regime and petty authoritarians like Dr. Anthony Fauci and their lockdowns that destroyed countless lives and small businesses in states ruled by power-drunk Democrats.
“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage, Governor Ron DeSantis,” Bryan announced as the governor strode out to a raucous reception and high-fived the singer.

While DeSantis was onstage, Bryan who is from Georgia couldn’t resist presenting the governor with a red football jersey from Florida’s SEC rival the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

DeSantis – who is up for reelection in November – is expected to make roadkill of his hapless Democratic party opponent Charlie Crist and remains a formidable threat to Joe Biden or whoever the party trots out as its 2024 nominee if he decides to make a run for the White House in two years.
