The View host says people don’t care about ‘broken window’ crimes, Lee Zeldin was stabbed because he’s hated

The witch’s cauldron of hate, racism and ignorance that is “The View” boiled over just in time for Halloween with the ladies tossing out some of their most unhinged commentaries yet as Democrat nerves begin to fray with voters about to pry their claws off of their one-party control of the political system.

Leading the way on Wednesday’s edition of the popular ABC daytime gabfest was in-house bigot Sunny Hostin who rarely misses an opportunity to inject her pathological obsession with race into the conversation. She joined the other hosts in downplaying the violent crime wave that has shaken Democrat-controlled cities since the 2020 “summer of love” with few experiencing more mayhem than New York City.

Possibly still hungover from the thorough dismantling of New York Governor Kathy Hochul in Tuesday night’s debate by her Republican opponent, Rep. Lee Zeldin who pummeled her on crime, Hostin seemed to suggest that the Jewish congressman deserved it when he was nearly stabbed by an attacker who charged the stage during a campaign event in July.

What is your plan, Lee Zeldin?” asked Whoopi Goldberg. “Because we know people are getting stabbed. We know what’s happening. We know what’s going on. What do you plan to do? Cause as I’m saying, she at least has a plan,” referring to Hochul who has ruled like a dictator despite never having been elected when she replaced the disgraced Andrew Cuomo who slinked out of office on his belly under a stink cloud of sexual misconduct scandal.

“He voted against the ban on semiautomatic weapons,” Hostin said. “And homicides are up, and I think that most people – having been a prosecutor, I know this – they care about violent crimes. They don’t care about broken windows, they really don’t care about that as much,” seeming to dismiss property damage and a host of other malicious acts perpetrated by the criminal thugs who have transformed the Big Apple into a jungle environment where the innocent are preyed upon daily.

Conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin jumped in, “In the last few months, Lee Zeldin was nearly stabbed on stage while campaigning in New York. A bullet came within thirty…”

Hostin interrupted, “Well, he’s hated. That’s true.”

“That’s not okay though. That’s horrifying,” Farah Griffin said, admonishing her co-host.

Hostin halfway walked it back, “No, I’m not saying that’s okay, but he is – he is divisive.”

“That means crime and political violence is on – There was a shooting outside his house that came within 30 feet of his home while his daughters were in the house. He is very familiar with the crime that is going on,” Farah Griffin said.

“No, he’s familiar with what just happened to him ‘cause that’s New York. That’s New York City right now,” Goldberg interjected to cheers from the crowd as the ladies then talked over each other.

“But New York remains the safest city in the country!” Hostin declared, despite a massive amount of video evidence to the contrary.

After some spirited conversation, Hostin said, “New York has — New York is one of the safest cities in the country! It has a $5 billion budget!”

New York City may be safe for rich, pampered media elitists like Hostin and her fellow co-hosts who can afford private security details but the reality is that ordinary citizens are putting their lives and personal safety at risk every time that they step out onto the mean streets, all thanks to Democrats and their soft on crime approach to law enforcement.
