Jesse Watters questions whether Biden is kept ‘on a leash’ due to constant gaffes, confusion

Fox News host Jesse Watters is wondering if White House handlers are metaphorically tethering the gaffe-prone, often-confused incumbent POTUS.

Upon being asked whether he is fit for office, President Joe Biden — who often seems like a candidate for a silver alert rather than a candidate for a second term — has repeatedly advised the corporate media to “watch me.”

The host of “Jesse Watters Primetime” quipped on Tuesday evening that “we’ve been watching, and we want to look away now. ”

“Yesterday, the president got lost in his own yard,” Watters added in the video clip embedded above, and that’s hardly the first time that Biden has become disoriented in public.

“You get the feeling that the president is on a leash. Not the kind of kinky leash that Hunter likes…And it’s like Joe knows he’s really not president; he’s more like he’s ‘acting president.’ You know, filling in before the real president is put in,” Watters asserted about the Democrat politician who supposedly received 81 million votes in the 2020 election.

If he is on a figurative leash, it’s still not stopping him, however, from awkwardly wandering off or losing his train of thought during pressers, ceremonies, or photo ops.

Watters’ colleague Tucker Carlson has from time to time described Joe Biden as a “demented mannequin.”

Watters also called attention to how Biden keeps referring to Vice President Kamala Harris as the president.

“‘No, you’re the president,’ Watters reminded him. “But Biden is having a hard time remembering that and remembering what he’s actually done as president.”

Watters then played a soundbite of Biden erroneously claiming that student loan forgiveness passed Congress by one or two votes, which in reality, it was enacted via executive order that a federal court has temporarily blocked.

“Nothing was worse than [Biden’s] interview with MSNBC…it was bad. It was very, very bad,” Watters insisted. “And it showed us there’s no way Biden can handle another campaign,” even though soft-ball questioner Jonathan Capehart contends that “Biden is just fine.”

Biden, a.k.a. Sleepy Joe, appeared to doze off during part of the sit-down when he said that he “intends” to run in 2024, although a final decision has yet to be made.

In that exchange, a compliant Capehart referred to the first lady as “Dr. Biden,” even though she has an education degree and no training in the healing arts.

Sitting across from Watters on the broadcast, former Trump White House press secretary and current FNC “Outnumbered” co-host Kayleigh McEnany told Bill O’Reilly’s protegee that Biden is going to run again in 2024.

McEnany acknowledged that Biden lacks the capacity to campaign for a second term (the first time around he was sequestered in his Delaware basement) “but he will run again because he is so stubborn,” citing the botched Afghanistan withdrawal as just one example.

Contrasting Biden with her high-energy ex-boss, McEnany recalled that “I’ll never forget being on Air Force One, and we’d be taking off. Trump would have five rallies. I could barely keep up with the man. And then we’d get this email, ‘lid called. Joe Biden: 9:05 a.m.’ I mean, he calls a lid before breakfast time. And that means we won’t hear from him for the rest of the day.”

The scenario could change as a result of the investigation, if the GOP takes control of Congress, into the Biden family’s alleged overseas influence peddling, McEnany explained.

“That is the only thing that can stop him…if the House investigations ramp up, and Hunter Biden comes to the forefront…the interest of his family is the only thing that could get him to step aside.”

The duo then discussed the possibility and timing of Joe Biden issuing a pardon to his son.

Watters punctuated the discussion by playing an embarrassing soundbite of current White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre who, he joked, needs a pardon for “committing crimes against the English language on a nightly basis.”

Although Biden — who turns 80 next month — is widely seen as a puppet or a figurehead for the far-left cabal that is actually setting policy for the regime, he seems to be perhaps doing better than U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman.
