Impromptu rendition of national anthem at Trump rally triggers left, but there may be more to story

If there is one thing that triggers leftist trolls even more than Donald J. Trump it is open displays of patriotism, especially when it comes to the National Anthem and Resistance Twitter erupted in fury after they got a good dose of both during the former president’s big rally in Robstown, Texas on Saturday night.

During Trump’s crowd-pleasing speech in which he spoke on a wide range of topics including the corruption of the regime, the terrible effects of Joe Biden’s policies and the creeping communism that has found a voice in the Democratic party, Trump took a shot at the J6 committee, the decidedly un-American, ultra-partisan tribunal put together by Speaker Nancy Pelosi who may have been inspired by the show trials of the old Soviet Union.

While the former – and perhaps future – POTUS was assailing Pelosi’s snarling attack dog Liz Cheney, the audience suddenly burst into a spirited rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, a song that is like nails on a chalkboard to the freedom-hating left.

Prior to the heartwarming moment, Trump was taking credit for another one of the nicknames that he has famously given to his foes, the “un-select committee.”

“I never got any credit, I think that was one of the great names, unselects. They’re unselect. It’s supposed to be , you now they say, the select committee,” he said before turning his fire on the vicious daughter of former VP Dick Cheney, “by the way, how did Liz Cheney do? She lost by forty points!”

“Then the corrupt press, they say, ‘Liz Cheney we believe has a great future in politics.’ She lost by forty points, the single biggest margin a congressman or woman has ever lost by in history, and then they say, ‘we feel she has a fine future in politics.’ I don’t think so!” he added. “But January — all she does is January 6th, she’s like obsessed,” also taking a jab at Cheney’s fellow collaborator Adam Kinzinger.

“But remember this,” Trump continued. “January 6th, this committee, the two things they didn’t talk about, two things, was that the people went down there, and you could’ve had over a million people…,” at which point a section began singing the National Anthem and then the entire crowd, followed by chants of “USA! USA! USA!”

“Wow that’s so beautiful,” Trump said in acknowledgement of the very special moment.

But others weren’t similarly inspired to anything other than hate and they took to their platform of choice to vent.

There is some chatter that the crowd’s rendition of the National Anthem wasn’t as spontaneous as it seemed, Mediaite reported that some users on conservative platforms Gettr and Truth Social are claiming that the reason behind the singing at 9 pm Eastern time were doing so because it is the time that the J6 political prisoners in the special D.C. gulag do so “from their jail cells,” offering up the following as an example.

Mediaite does state that “there’s nothing to verify or corroborate this claim at the time of this post.”

Whether it was timed to coincide with the J6 captives singing or not, there is no question that Trump supporters will continue to publicly express their love for America and won’t be deterred by “public-private partnership” of the government and the corrupt media.
