Gutfeld: Colleges are ‘brain-free zones’ where students prefer the ‘presence of a rapist’ over cops

Buried in a story covering a sexual assault at a Pennsylvania university was a counterprotest that led Fox News host Greg Gutfeld to conclude, “college campuses aren’t just gun-free zones. They’re also brain-free zones.”

Opening the Friday edition of his show “Gutfeld!” the host dove right into a story from the University of Pittsburgh that entailed sexual assault allegations during school hours at the college’s landmark Cathedral of Learning. He began in a sardonic fashion stating, “Here’s a stupid, infuriating, idiotic story, which can only mean it bubbled up from academia.”

Following the allegations, a petition circulated garnering around 6,000 signatures (Pitt’s enrollment is roughly 20,000 undergraduates) by the time students protested earlier in October demanding action including more security cameras, especially in isolated areas like stairwells where the assault was said to have taken place, and greater police presence on campus.

“Can you guess what happened next?” Gutfeld asked. “Hint it always happens when common sense runs headfirst into the witless woke. Stupid, destructive outrage. See, the woke are like that drunken moron speeding southbound down a northbound highway, eventually causing destruction of someone else who was doing the right thing.”

“And so a backlash came from students who claimed the increasing police presence would threaten the safety of students of color. As opposed to, you know, wanna be rapists,” he explained. As The Pitt News detailed, “Not all protesters supported the concept of increased policing on campus, because they said police presence does not make students more safe and may even threaten the safety of Black and brown students.”

“You know, I didn’t realize Pitt was a school for the mentally challenged,” the host offered before joking, “What did these students have to do to get admitted? Sketch a turtle or a pirate? I tried that.”

“Which reminds us, college campuses aren’t just gun-free zones. They’re also brain-free zones,” he concluded after pointing out, “So, after a sexual assault some students were more concerned over the presence of police than over the presence of a rapist. Of course, this is what happens when the media distorts the odds of police shootings: college kids prefer rapists, classrooms aren’t safe during school and cops are as popular as a fart in a hot tub.”

Gutfeld later elaborated “The female victim is now secondary to the mantra of systemic racism” before contending that “Being considered racially oppressed is the equivalent of drawing a royal flush in poker; no other hand can trump it.”

This reality promulgated by the indoctrination of students through critical race theory led Gutfeld to suggest that the woke influence in schools of higher learning was just a fraction of the problem with one quick dig at one of the progressive harpies from ABC’s “The View.”

“So here you got a microcosm of what you’re seeing now in every city. Microcosm means a small sample of a bigger problem, like Joy Behar’s small toe.”
