Tucker announces the ‘ruling class is about to lose control’ and so-called ‘liberals’ lose their minds

Leftist critics mocked Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Wednesday for a chyron that ran on-screen during his show asserting that the left was having a meltdown because “The Ruling Class is About to Lose Control.”

At issue is Tesla CEO Elon Musk buying Twitter to empower free speech which Carlson eloquently laid out. The elitist trolls on the left missed the point entirely, asserting that Musk is one of the ruling class himself. This isn’t about class or wealth… it’s about freedom of speech which is a foreign concept to Democrats.

Arguably, as Carlson pointed out, the left acts as the de facto ruling class currently and they have exiled Elon Musk because he has committed the gravest sin of all… empowering free speech among the masses by attempting to purchase Twitter.

Woke progressives out of desperation even went so far as to point out that Carlson himself was raised in privilege by a father who served as a U.S. ambassador and married an heiress. They also highlighted that he previously worked for CNN, PBS, and MSNBC. Note that none of those bastions of journalism are proponents of free speech, so it is no wonder Carlson eventually wound up at Fox News.

Carlson was not bashful in calling out the oppressors on the left.

“Authoritarians understand this above all. That’s why they hate freedom of speech. In fact, if you gave them a choice, they’d let you have a fully automatic, 50-caliber machine gun before they allowed you to say exactly what you want. With the gun, you might be able to kill people, but with words, you can expose them. ”

“With words, you can change the world. In fact, there has never been a change, a deep change to the way people live and think, that didn’t begin with words. Not with might, not with violence, but with words. That’s why they’re so obsessively focused on what you can say, on the words you can use, because they understand the power of words,” he added.

Carlson went on to illuminate the “face of soul-crushing fascist liberalism.

“And Elon Musk, whatever his faults may be, understands this too and that’s why he’s trying to buy Twitter, not because he needs another company. No. Elon Musk purchasing Twitter is more than just a potential change to the media landscape. It is a true existential threat to the hegemony of the people currently in charge,” he contended.

“Allowing freedom of speech means the possibility of a revolution from below against the forces destroying this country and the West. Everything rides on this. They know it. You may not, but they do. So, they’ve got to do everything they can to destroy Elon Musk, who was just the other day, a hero to them. He’s the electric car guy, remember? They don’t even mention his electric cars anymore because he’s doing the one thing you’re not allowed to do, which is giving voice to people,” he continued.

The conservative host highlighted how the left had turned on Musk, calling him racist. Then they incessantly hammered him for daring to buy Twitter as the woke staff piddled themselves in terror. But now, it is becoming a reality that Musk will buy the social media platform and restore free speech on it. The left is melting, melting, melting over it.

“Tonight, after roughly six months of watching this drama, which has gone in and out of the news cycle, it looks like they have failed to stop Elon Musk from buying Twitter. All indications that we have as of right now are that the deal will go through. Twitter has just locked its employee stocks and that indicates some kind of transaction is imminent, and then a source tells the show that there is a very high probability, 90% probability, that within the next two weeks, Elon Musk will own Twitter. And he has said repeatedly and we can’t guess the future, but he has said he is doing this in order to give voice to people who have no voice,” Carlson reported.

“All of us have forgotten that Twitter banned a sitting president of the United States from speaking, thereby making it really clear who’s got the real power. No, not the U.S. government. Transnational corporations like Twitter, which control speech,” he recounted.

“They did everything they could to stop this from happening, but they failed, so now they’re attempting to destroy Elon Musk the man, and again, to be clear, we don’t know Elon Musk. We’re not carrying water for Elon Musk. He may have weird agendas we don’t know about, but it’s only about speech. That’s it. And that’s why the Justice Department is now investigating Elon Musk for reasons that no one can explain, but that’s what the DOJ does now, tries to terrify people with criminal investigations into obeying,” Carlson asserted.

Tucker went on to proclaim that the left cannot shut conservatives up and that Musk, in the end, will be a force for free speech despite their tearing of hair and rending of clothes. Censorship will not stand.

Progressive naysayers however engaged in the obligatory trashing of both Carlson and Musk on social media. It was, in a word, pathetic.

Jane Coaston of the New York Times tweeted a screenshot of Carlson’s show and admonished, “We need to have a national conversation on what the definition of ‘ruling class’ is.”

The Atlantic’s Adam Serwer ridiculously responded to Coaston’s tweet, “It’s pretty simple. The working class are the millionaires and billionaires who own the companies, and the ruling class are the people who work for them.”

Arieh Kovler responded to Coaston, “When the Right talks about elites and the ruling class they seem to mean whoever holds *cultural* power, even when the Right itself holds the political, economic and other forms of coercive power.”

Senior research manager Jared Holt reflexively chimed in, “Elon Musk is by definition ruling class. So is Tucker. What they really mean is that they worry people who aren’t part of their political project, which is seemingly the only metric they use to gauge good/bad anymore. You want to know why we’re polarized, start with this drivel.”

The only “drivel” here is the specious arguments by these authoritarian, elitist Democrats who are obsessed with race and class while they dismiss free speech unless, of course, it’s their own.
