In a scene that would not have even made the final cut for “Idiocracy,” four masked teenagers with guns were allegedly given access to a high school by two of its administrators who believed it was unsafe for them to stay outside because – wait for it – there were police officers nearby.
On September 14, security officers at Garret Morgan High School in Cleveland, Ohio, spotted the four teens approaching the school and proceeded to call 911. During the call, multiple people could be heard yelling to keep the school locked down and prohibit the gang from entering.
“Do not let them, do not let anybody through that door, people,” one man can be heard saying in the call recording obtained by Fox8.
“Keep the school locked down,” the dispatcher instructed.
Another person shouted, “Don’t let ’em in the building!” which seemed to be echoed by another person who can be heard yelling, “Don’t let ’em in the building!”
Despite performing what should have been the obvious action by normally thinking people, two school administrators, Christopher Kane and Carolyn Elias, reportedly allowed the four teens to enter the school via the gymnasium and dining area.
“Two assistant principals from leadership let the males into the building,” one witness wrote in a statement.
One of those two vice-principals – both of whom should be unemployed tomorrow if there is any logic in Cleveland, Ohio – told police in a statement, “I confirmed the interior doors were locked and instructed the four suspects to come to the vestibule because it was unsafe to be outside because I saw police officers.”
One recording of the incident showed the four teens, three of whom appeared to be black, milling about in a vestibule adorned with the very finest in thug fashions, including skinny jeans and an Ice Cube hoodie. Kane can be seen on the video acting as if he is doing the world a favor by directing cops to the armed teenagers whom he may have let one step closer to taking the lives of innocent students and faculty.
When police attempted to arrest and disarm the teens, all of them fled and a chase ensued.

The student body of around 285 from grades 9-12 was reportedly on lockdown during the entire incident, and after a prolonged pursuit, three of the four teens were apprehended while one got away. Incredibly, two of them were sent home on their own recognizance pending a juvenile investigation, but one 16-year-old was kept in custody on an unrelated robbery charge. Three stolen cars were identified at the scene and two guns were recovered from the teens the police were able to apprehend.
The Cleveland Metropolitan School District released this preposterous statement:
“As one of the witness statements indicates, the males entered a controlled, secured area that is specifically designed to prevent access to the rest of the building,” the district said in a statement. “Cleveland police had already arrived on the scene and were able to make arrests. The staff member made a split-second decision that the individual thought was the best way to keep students and staff safe.”
“RECKLESS + DANGEROUS,” said the National Fraternal Order of Police in response, “@CLEMetroSchools administrators at Garrett Morgan HS allowed MASKED GUNMEN to enter the school in order to protect the gunmen from *wait for it* police officers outside. They risked the lives of CHILDREN to show how woke they are. Can’t make it up.”

Ken Trump, who heads the National School Safety and Security Services in Cleveland, said of the potentially fatal decision, “You’ve just let them one step closer in.”
“The goal is to keep students away from harm. You don’t let the bad guy, especially when you know they’re the bad guy, get closer into your school building,” Trump told Fox8.
