Twitter censors FL top doc for faulting Covid mRNA vaccine for 84% increase in cardiac-related death in younger men

Update: Florida Surgeon General Joseph A. Ladapo’s tweet has been restored by Twitter after having been censored earlier.

Florida Surgeon General Joseph A. Ladapo, MD, Ph.D. has been censored by Twitter after being attacked by the left for publishing the apparently controversial results of a COVID vaccine study.

Conducted by the Florida Department of Health, the study found that “there is an 84% increase in the relative incidence of cardiac-related death among males 18-39 years old within 28 days following mRNA vaccination,” according to a press release from Ladapo’s office.

“With a high level of global immunity to COVID-19, the benefit of vaccination is likely outweighed by this abnormally high risk of cardiac-related death among men in this age group. Non-mRNA vaccines were not found to have these increased risks,” the press release continues.

When Ladapo tried to share the results of this study on Twitter, this happened:

Far-leftists rushed to complain about his department’s findings and demand Twitter censor said findings.

It appears the demands worked:

Apparently, scientific studies only count when the results of the study jibe with the narratives that the left seeks to tell.

Though to be fair, some critics say the study itself is flawed:

That being said, based on the study’s findings, the Florida Department of Health has updated its COVID vaccine guidance.

“The State Surgeon General now recommends against the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines for males ages 18-39 years old,” the new guidance reads.

This new guidance is likely to face an increasing number of attacks from the media in the upcoming days. Like leftists, members of the media are convinced that the COVID vaccine is perfectly safe for everybody.

There are nevertheless a number of Americans who’ve claimed that their family members died because of the vaccine. Americans like Ernest Ramirez.

“Ernest Ramirez says his 16-year-old son died five days after receiving the Pfizer vaccine,” according to the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE)

“My son received the vaccine and he died a few days later, and the only explanation that was given to me was an enlarged heart,” Ramirez told Life Site News last year.

An enlarged heart is a symptom of myocarditis and pericarditis, two conditions that even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention admit are linked to the consumption of the COVID vaccine by young adult males.

“In April 2021, increased cases of myocarditis and pericarditis were reported in the United States after mRNA COVID-19 vaccination (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna). Data from multiple studies show a rare risk for myocarditis and/or pericarditis following receipt of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines,” the CDC notes.

“These rare cases of myocarditis or pericarditis have occurred most frequently in adolescent and young adult males, ages 16 years and older, within 7 days after receiving the second dose of an mRNA COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna).”

Dovetailing back to Ramirez, he likewise “told former Fox 26 Houston journalist Ivory Hecker that he was told the vaccine was one hundred percent safe and effective, which is why he allowed his son to get the shot,” according to FEE.

“I kept hearing more advertisements about how it was safe for the teenagers, so I said ‘OK.’ Two or three weeks later the CDC started announcing children were having enlarged hearts,” Ramirez said.

None of this is to say that Ramirez’ son definitely died because of the COVID vaccine. But stories like this do nevertheless raise valid questions about the vaccine’s safety, particularly as it relates to young men.

Yet as Ladapo has unintentionally demonstrated, the left doesn’t want Americans questioning their so-called “science” — even when the questioning is conducted with legitimate studies and real data.
