NYC teachers GONE WILD: Investigation finds male students preyed on by female predators

Several female school teachers and aides in New York City are apparently hell-bent on breaking the stereotype that only men fit the role as sexual predators.

A Hillside Arts and Letters Academy instructor in Queens sent at least 15 inappropriate photos of herself to an underage student that showed herself “In lingerie or nude” according to reports released by the Special Commissioner of Investigation, the New York Post reported.

The 17-year-old male spoke to the police about the photos but nothing came of the investigation.

If you haven’t already pulled your kid out of public school after hearing about the photos, maybe Black’s other documented escapades might change your mind.

By early 2022, she let boys take a glimpse at a photo of her vagina and visited a student’s house where she dropped her drawers and told the child “eat my ass.” The report also indicated that she was depicted in a video that she shared with students “deep throating” a bottle of booze while dancing without pants on.

Black was “removed from DOE [Department of Education] service” during the investigation but on her LinkedIn page, she appears to still be an active employee despite the report’s recommendation that she be booted from her teaching post “given her total unfitness as a pedagogue.”

Black’s case was just one of the 21 reports on sexual misconduct in the schools, seven of which involved female perpetrators. The ratio of male and female perpetrators is typical when compared to nation statistics according to the Stop Educator Sexual Abuse, Misconduct and Exploitation (SESAME) advocacy group.

Other disturbing interactions laid out in the report included almost 5,500 “very flirtatious” and “sexual tension” laden texts that 24-year-old  math teacher Danielle Medellin shared with a teenager in her class.

Juliana Garofalo bragged to her peers about a “sexual relationship” she had with a student prior to his graduation in 2018 and then had the audacity to complain when the next school that unwittingly employed her found out.

Michelle Zak “engaged in an inappropriate relationship” with multiple students that featured sleepovers and smoking pot.

Queens education professional Makita Brooks-Stanton had the bright idea to bring her pre-kindergarten class from PS 160 to a May 2020 visit to her doctor via video chat.

“She even had the doctor say hi to the class on Google Meet,” one mother of a 5-year-old said after witnessing the incident that lasted for “about two minutes.”

“She was in her blue gown and that’s when she was exposed,” she added, ” It was a frontal view.”

The SCI report was more favorable to Brooks-Stanton and stated that the “breast exposure to a pre-K class did not appear purposeful,” although her “actions showed a serious lack of professionalism.”

“I felt really bad when I registered the complaint,” the mother who yelled until the video feed was taken down said. “I think this was just a poor judgment call on her part.”

The founder of SESAME raged against the reports of misconduct and noted that boys can have more severe psychological effects compared to girls who are sexualized at a young age.

“I’m outraged,” Terri Miller said. “How dare these teachers — who are put in a position of trust over our children — violate that trust so egregiously? These incidents are going to put a mark of trauma on every single one of those children.”

“Studies find that boys offended by a female are more likely to suffer more severe psychological trauma, more likely to become addicted to alcohol and drugs, and more likely to drop out of school,” Miller continued.

“This is a life-threatening trauma and injury that bad-apple teachers are inflicting on our children — and they are children,” she concluded. “Damage done.”
