‘Jared was holding Trump back’: Kanye gets ugly on Kushner but says Ivanka is fire

Following Kanye West’s name being splattered all over headlines this week after his “White Lives Matter” fashion show in Paris, he proceeded to unload on the Kushner brothers in a digital brawl on social media Thursday.

West smacked Josh Kushner over his investments in Kim Kardashian’s underwear line before taking a jab at his brother Jared. It should be noted that West was friends with the brothers, at least until recently.

“F**K JOSH KUSHNER,” West declared on an Instagram post that racked up more than 100,000 likes.

That sentiment refers to Kushner’s firm, Thrive Capital, which invested in Kardashian’s SKIMS company during multiple fundraising rounds starting in 2020. That was before West and Kardashian parted ways in a very public and nasty fashion.

West is evidently offended by the company’s investments in SKIMS and sees it as some kind of slight against him and an affront to his marriage.

The rapper asked Josh Kushner how he would like it if West invested in an underwear line created by Kushner’s supermodel wife, Karlie Kloss.

“WHAT IF I HAD 10% OF KARLIE KLOSS UNDERWEAR LINE WITHOUT YOU KNOWING,” West challenged Kushner on Instagram. “AND YOU ONLY HAD 5%.”

West also owns a stake in SKIMS. The Kardashian company is said to be valued at $3.2 billion by Reuters.

SKIMS is just one of a number of big companies that Thrive Capital has invested in. They also dumped venture capital into Instagram, Robinhood, and Slack. In September, Disney CEO Bob Iger joined the company as a venture partner.

West then went after former Trump administration senior advisor Jared Kushner.

“JARED WAS HOLDING TRUMP BACK,” he proclaimed on Instagram.

The rapper then praised former President Trump’s daughter, declaring, “IVANKA IS FIRE.”

West and Jared Kushner had dinner at Carbone in Miami together as recently as January this year according to PageSix. In 2020, Kushner told Fox News that “Kanye has been a friend for 10 years.” That is apparently no longer the case.

The rapper also did an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson taking aim at Jared Kushner, accusing him of being entitled, a mercenary, and amoral. He asserts he is no longer a fan of the Kushner brothers.

“After talking to them and really sitting with Jared and sitting with Josh and finding out other pieces of information, I was like, wow, these guys might have really been holding Trump back, being very much a handler,” West said during the interview.

“They love to look at me or look at Trump like we are so crazy and they are the businessmen,” West claimed. “When I think about all of these things that Jared doesn’t get enough credit for with his work – his work in Israel, what is this, you know what he made peace treaties, you know the facts on this right here?”

Carlson addressed the Abraham Accords in the Middle East and West responded.

“I think it was to make money,” he said referring to the peace deal. “I think that’s what they are about is making money, I don’t think they have the ability to make anything on their own. I think they were born into money.”

The rapper went on to thrash Kushner further.

“It makes me feel like they weren’t serving my boy Trump the way we could have,” he charged. “Because Trump wanted nothing but the best for this country.”

West has taken to Instagram recently to attack Kardashian, Adidas, and Bernard Arnault, chairman of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton, among others.

But nothing stirred controversy more than West sending models down the runway at his Yeezy Paris Fashion Week show wearing “White Lives Matter” shirts. That set social media on fire and it is still burning.

Vogue contributing editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson called out West for “indefensible behavior” and an “incredibly irresponsible and dangerous act” following the show. The two have since reconciled but she was far from the only one taking a shot at West over the messaging.

After models Gigi Hadid and Hailey Bieber attacked him for getting into it with the Vogue editor, West clapped back, comparing them to model and one-time girlfriend, Vinetria.

“Vinetria you are the culture’s favorite ‘THEEYYY’ threw a mask on you at YZY SZN 9 when I wasn’t looking ‘THEEYY’ don’t want undeniable beautiful black woman to be put on their rightful throne,” West wrote on Instagram.

“They want corny ass Gigi Hadid and nose job Hailey Baldloose to rally behind an obvious Corey Gamble level non fashion industry plant They don’t want to support Beyoncé They want to shame Lizzo whenever she looses weight Travis Scott and Future are real ones for recognizing this queen and she ain’t have to fuck nobody to be recognized This queen is going to change the trajectory of our people cause she’s not promoting the things that kill our people that ‘MEDIA’ use to kill destroy and control our people,” he railed.

West also slammed Tremaine Emory, his former friend and the creative director of the skate brand Supreme, who defended the Vogue editor.
