During a segment about OPEC+ rejecting President Joe Biden’s request to not cut oil production, Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy managed to work in a clever quip straight from POTUS himself.
While at Florida’s Fisherman’s Wharf, Biden was caught on a hot mic telling Fort Myers Mayor Ray Murphy “Nobody f***s with a Biden.” But according to Doocy, that’s not entirely accurate.
“The president says ‘no one effs with a Biden, but it appears OPEC+ has done just that,” the correspondent snarked, creating a segue into the topic of oil and gas prices.

Contrary to what Biden may think, he has taken a beating from both OPEC and the domestic oil and gas industry. As American Wire previously reported, the US Oil & Gas Association lit into the president for snubbing American options in favor of foreign energy sources.
“OPEC says no, SPR options all but gone… The WH has one option left and it is the one option they should have never turned away from in the first place – the US based oil and gas industry. Life comes at you pretty fast….,” the association wrote.
SPR is short for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which thanks to the president’s meddling has reached a record low.
