Marilyn Monroe biopic, ‘Blonde’, depicts life in the womb, to horror and scorn of Planned Parenthood

Director Andrew Dominik is receiving hate mail from Planned Parenthood over his depiction of abortion in the Marilyn Monroe film he made, which debuted on Netflix last week. The abortion giant vehemently objects to the humanizing of a human fetus.

Ana De Armas, in a powerful depiction of the iconic actress, plays the elation, confusion, regret, and torment perfectly.

The elation came upon finding out she was pregnant:

Marilyn writes to her baby in a diary entry and speaks to her mother admiringly for not aborting her.

“When you had me, Mother, you weren’t married, I guess,” said Monroe. “You didn’t have a man supporting you. Yet you had a baby. That was so brave. Another girl would’ve … well, you know … gotten rid of it. Of me. And I wouldn’t be here. At all. There wouldn’t be any Marilyn.”

But observing her mother’s mental illness, Marilyn begins to worry that she isn’t doing the baby any favors by bringing her into the world, so she begins to seek an abortion. Soon, she is shown on the operating table having second thoughts but being ignored. So much for empowering women.

The abortion scene is vivid and haunting:

Norma Jeane Mortenson (aka Marilyn Monroe) never had an abortion. She had miscarriages, but no abortions.

Dominik had more points to make about the long-term regret of abortion, though, so he didn’t stop at one fictitious Monroe abortion. Later in the movie, she becomes pregnant again, with President Kennedy’s baby.

It is gut-wrenching when the fictional Monroe is forced to abort this baby, too. It sends her spiraling. The unbearable pain of losing her children is on her mind as she decides to commit suicide.

Planned Parenthood works hand-in-glove with Hollywood, making sure every movie promotes the right pro-abortion message. Amazingly, they missed this one. A small, accidental victory for pro-lifers. The abortion lobby must really be mad at themselves for not catching this before the movie got out.

An article in The Hollywood Reporter, “Planned Parenthood: ‘Blonde’ Is ‘Anti-Abortion Propaganda'”, details that regret and the resulting outrage.

“As film and TV shapes many people’s understanding of sexual and reproductive health, it’s critical these depictions accurately portray women’s real decisions and experiences,” Caren Spruch, Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s national director of arts and entertainment engagement, told The Hollywood Reporter.

The last thing Spruch seems to want is an accurate portrayal of abortion and how it affects women for the rest of their lives, the debilitating guilt, regret and despair many experience.

Spruch continued, undaunted with such concerns. “While abortion is safe, essential health care, anti-abortion zealots have long contributed to abortion stigma by using medically inaccurate descriptions of fetuses and pregnancy.”

One assumes Spruch believes ultrasounds to be inaccurate. And we are to believe that this is the party of science.

She went on to mock the director: “Andrew Dominik’s new film, ‘Blonde,’ bolsters their message with a CGI-talking fetus, depicted to look like a fully formed baby.”

Depicting a baby as a baby and a woman as someone who grows attached to the thing growing in her body is so very outrageous, isn’t it?! The death cult of the Left thinks so, anyway. Still, people passionate about life have a different view.

Storm of Dust, the answer to your question is yes. The abortion lobby doesn’t just want to keep movies like ‘Blonde’ from coming out. They want to push for movies that present a positive, peaceful depiction of abortion. One example of this was an episode of ABC’s ‘Scandal.’

“The entire hour was an advertisement for Planned Parenthood,” remarked Alexa Moutevelis Coombs of Newsbusters, “but the absolute worst scene was a montage set to the Christmas hymn ‘Silent Night,’ a song that celebrates the birth of Christ, while main character Olivia Pope … has an abortion, killing her and the president’s baby.”

Another Twitter user, Tom Grimm, has a suggestion for those uncomfortable with the abortion scenes:

On the flip side, here is another potty-mouthed leftist showering Dominik with hate and resentment:

Dominik, for his part, was not trying to appeal to the abortion cartel. He was being human – something that is seemingly discouraged in today’s society, especially Hollywood.

Incredibly, the movie was rated NC-17. The same people who want drag queens in grade school and transgenderism in kindergarten want you to think THIS is what’s obscene.

Here is the trailer for the movie.
