Glamorous social media influencer whines when waitress at ‘Karen’s Diner’ insults her … but that’s her job!

Although it may be the Australian version of “Dick’s Last Resort” here in the states – where purposefully obnoxious and rude staff are part of the attraction – it seems that some patrons feel that Karen’s Diner in Brisbane has taken their brand of insult comedy a bit too far.

The restaurant’s motto is “Great burgers and rude service,” according to the Daily Mail, but one social “influencer” named Cherry Hart believes her mellow was harshed when on a recent visit her dessert choice prompted the in-character waitress to quip:

‘You do realise [sic] that dessert is f***ing huge, I doubt you’re going to eat it.”

Whoa, Nelly.

The menu item in question was Karen’s Seasonal Waffle Bowl and the Nutty Karen.

“You look like you’re bulimic,” she added, hilariously.

Yet, she [Hart] filmed it. Perhaps the food ain’t good enough to eat when it’s right in front of you.

Must get on that phone first.

“That is way out of line I’m so sorry,” said one anonymous poster.

Another said, “Oh Jesus (they suddenly believe in Jesus?) that’s not ok, as someone who sufferers with an ED (eating disorder) it’s hard enough for me to eat on a night out, so this would upset me so much.”

Some others tried to flip the script, with one saying, “Dear god if she doesn’t get fired for that.”

God is normally capitalized, Slick.

One erstwhile patron of Karen’s Diner named Neil Cummins – a Sydney father of two – said he was shocked with the the over-the-top mentality.

“I can take a little, but being called a f***ing d**khead is taking it too far,” he said.

He said one of his sons was told to ‘f**k off’ halfway through his meal and later told to come and get their ‘f***ing dessert’.

Mr. Cummins said he was called an “a**hole” for not leaving a tip and a “bad parent” for bringing his children to the diner in the first place.

One woman, who was searching for something somewhere said, “It was really triggering, I actually started crying when the waitress was speaking to me like that and I asked her to stop, and she said no.”

“NO” is the most important word in the English language today.

“Me and my friends went to Karen’s Diner, and safe to say I probably won’t come back,” the unnamed woman began.

According to their website, Karen’s is “an interactive diner and an absurdly fun experience. At Karen’s you will be greeted and waited upon by rude waiters and forced to play a variety of games.  Karen’s Diner is a place where you can complain until the cows come home because we literally don’t care.”

It continues, “You can expect good food, good fun and a dining experience like you’ve never had before. Let us know if it’s your birthday, if your name is Karen and for the love of Karen don’t ask to speak to the manager…”

“We literally don’t care” is all you need to know about the Left.
