Secret Service detail SUV occupies handicap spot for 2 hrs while Obama dines with daughters in West LA

As a card carrying member of the progressive elite, former President Barack Obama is no stranger to flagrant acts of utter contempt for the average American. On Saturday, that attitude was perfectly captured courtesy of the United States Secret Service as they reportedly waited for their charge for two hours–in a handicap spot.

A couple short weeks after Obama joined President Joe Biden at the White House and proclaimed, “it is now America’s good fortune to have” Biden as president as he promotes “economic fairness,” he was seen leaving West Los Angeles’ pricey Hamasaku sushi restaurant with daughters Sasha and Malia.

According to the Daily Mail, while former first lady Michelle Obama was away in Seneca, NY for her induction into the National Women’s Hall of Fame, the president spent a night out with his girls at Santa Monica Boulevard establishment that charges as much as $50 for eight-piece sushi rolls.

While staff fawned over the Obamas as they left the restaurant, plying them with offers of free ice cream, they were filmed getting into the Secret Service SUV that had been occupying one of the two visible handicap spots located outside the business.

Obama is not the only Democrat to have demonstrated disregard for the concerns of the little people as former secretary of state Hillary Clinton had been caught in a similar fashion in 2015 when her escort had occupied a handicap spot outside a Council Bluffs, Iowa café for roughly an hour while the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee conducted a meeting.

More recently in August, the Secret Service detail of second gentleman Doug Emhoff was likewise caught presenting obstacles for the disabled as they reportedly blocked access to multiple handicap spots for roughly 20 minutes at a Whole Foods store in Los Angeles.

In response to questions from the Daily Mail, a spokesman stated at the time, “Due to the need to maintain operational security, the U.S. Secret Service does not comment on the means or methods used to conduct our protective operations.”

Though not specifically regarding the incident from Saturday, Obama has offered some commentary as to his view on the handicapped in the past. Early in his presidency during an appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, he infamously took a shot at self-deprecating humor as he reported on his bowling score of 129 and said, “It’s like the Special Olympics of something.”

Though he would go on to offer an apology for the failed attempt at comedy, candid moments like these have shown the character of him and his fellow Democrats and what they think of ordinary people.

As Obama had offered after the official unveiling of his and Michelle’s official portraits, “When future generations see these…I hope they get a better, honest sense of who Michelle and I were.”
