On Friday, the Biden Department of Justice performed a SWAT raid on the home of Mark Houck, a pro-life author and father of seven who runs a nonprofit that offers sidewalk counseling outside abortion clinics in Philadelphia.
Why did the FBI raid his home? Because last year Houck committed the alleged crime of defending him and his eldest son against a zealous pro-abortion activist.
According to Houck’s wife, Ryan-Marie, while out sidewalk counseling last year with their eldest son, he and the son were harassed by said activist.

“On several occasions when Mark went to sidewalk counsel last year, he took his eldest son, who was only 12 at the time. For ‘weeks and weeks,’ a ‘pro-abortion protester’ would speak to the boy saying ‘crude … inappropriate and disgusting things,’ such as ‘you’re dad’s a f-g,’ and other statements,” LifeSite News reported Friday.
“Repeatedly, Mark would tell this pro-abortion man that he did not have permission to speak to his son and please refrain from doing so. And ‘he kept doing it and kind of came into [the son’s] personal space’ obscenely ridiculing his father. At this point, ‘Mark shoved him away from his child, and the guy fell back.'”
“He didn’t have any injuries or anything, but he tried to sue Mark,” according to Ryan-Marie.
Thankfully, the case was reportedly thrown out of court earlier this summer. But that, sadly, is not where the story ends.
Led by Attorney General Merrick Garland, the Biden DOJ decided to intervene and file its own charges against Houck. The DOJ specifically charged Houck with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act as per an alleged “attack of a patient escort.”
He’s now being charged by the Biden DOJ with a law called the “Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances,” which makes it a federal crime to “injure, intimidate, and interfere with anyone because that person is a provider of reproductive health care.”https://t.co/UqI69xWkFN

Now fast-forward to Friday, when, with a warrant in hand, the FBI conducted a SWAT raid of Houck’s home in front of his seven children.
“Ryan-Marie, who is a homeschooling mother, described how the SWAT team of 25 to 30 FBI agents swarmed their property with around 15 vehicles at 7:05 a.m. [Friday] morning. Having quickly surrounded the house with rifles in firing position, ‘they started pounding on the door and yelling for us to open it,'” according to Lifesite.
Before Houck opened the door, he tried to reason with the agents to calm down.
“Please, I’m going to open the door, but, please, my children are in the home. I have seven babies in the house,” he said, according to Ryan-Marie.
But they didn’t care, and so when Houck opened the door, they rushed inside with their guns drawn — and all in front of his children.
“Our staircase is open, so [the kids] were all at the top of the stairs which faces the front door, and I was on the stairs as well, coming down. The kids were all just screaming. It was all just very scary and traumatic,” Ryan-Marie said to Lifesite.
But it gets worse.
When Ryan-Marie asked to see their warrant, “they said that they were going to take [Houck] whether they had a warrant or not,” she told Lifesite.
This prompted her to protest that “you can’t just come to a person’s house and kidnap them at gunpoint,” which in turn apparently convinced them to show her their warrant, but only after first loading Houck into a vehicle.

The agents’ only saving grace was when they softened up a bit toward the end.
“After they had taken Mark, and the kids were all screaming that he was their best friend, the [FBI agents on her porch] kind of softened a bit. I think they realized what was happening. Or maybe they actually looked at the warrant. They looked pretty ashamed at what had just happened,” Ryan-Marie said.
Their kids, she added, were “really sad and stressed.”
“So, I’ve already reached out to some psychiatrists or psychologists to try and help us through this. I don’t really know what’s going to come of it when you see guns pointed at your dad and your mom in your house when you first wake up in the morning,” she added.
Houck now reportedly faces up to 11 years in prison:
Mark Houck is now facing a maximum sentence of 11 years in prison, three years of supervised release, and fines of up to $350,000.
All because he pushed a Planned Parenthood volunteer to the ground who got in his son’s personal space and yelled obscenities at him.

The raid of Houck’s home and his subsequent arrest have provoked massive outrage over the clear-cut double standards.
For months now the Department of Justice has done nothing about pro-abortion extremists vandalizing churches and pregnancy centers.
Nor has the Biden DOJ said a peep about Jane’s Revenge, a left-wing extremist group that’s threatened violence over Roe v. Wade being overturned.
Nobody responsible for the nearly 100 attacks, including firebombs and vandalism, on pro-life pregnancy centers has been charged by the DOJ.
But a pro-life activist who pushed a Planned Parenthood volunteer threatening his son is now facing 11 years in jail.
Two-tiers justice.
