Chris Rufo lays out how teachers’ unions plan to ‘queer up’ sex education in schools

Senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, Chris Rufo, sat down with Fox News host Tucker Carlson on Friday to discuss how a teachers’ union created “badges” linking to a website with explicit sexual content to “queer up” sex education in schools.

“So, just a big picture first… how is this… how’s this allowed? If I go to your kids and talk to them like this, I’m getting arrested, and rightly so. You’re not allowed to talk to kids like this. You’re not allowed to sexualize children. Why is the teachers’ union able to get away with this?” Carlson asked Rufo.

“So, what’s happened is that the teachers’ union has created badges for public school teachers with a QR code on the back that links them to these resources including this resource on queering sex ed. The idea is that traditional sexual education is white, male heterosexually focused. And in order to empower students and empower LGBTQ+ students you have to teach them about the whole range of sex acts including sadomasochism, bonding, rimming,” Rufo noted.

He then proceeded to show Carlson a printout of a guide to empower youth on “fisting.”

“I agree, this should be a crime. Any adult or government employee that talks about these things with kids should be immediately fired but that’s not what’s happening. This is the teachers’ union’s official ideology. They’ve taken the principles of radical Gender Theory from the universities and now they’re mainlining into the K through 12 system without parents’ consent, without parents’ knowledge, and this is the kind of resource that in many cases, including in schools in Ohio, teachers are actually wearing this resource as a badge that links directly to these materials,” Rufo continued.

Carlson wanted to know how all this suddenly became okay.

Rufo answered, “Well if you look at the academic queer theory… and a lot of this is really important to understand, it comes from an ideological movement from the 1980s and 1990s.”

He then went on to elaborate on how leaders of the movement “specifically advocated for what they called adult-child sexual relationships. This is baked into the ideology. It’s kind of snuck around the edges as people have tried to conceal it. But I think that’s really at the heart of this movement. They think that transgressive sex is a tool for liberation and the most transgressive sex of all is sex between an adult and a child. We have to call this out for what it is. We have to fight it tooth and nail. And we have to make sure it’s out of our public schools 100 percent,” Rufo concluded.

He’s not the only one ringing alarm bells on the teachers’ unions attempting to sexualize children. PragerU personality Amala Ekpunobi is also speaking out.

She spoke with Fox News host Laura Ingraham on the issue Friday.

“The president was speaking to the NEA today, the same week that we learned that their LGBTQ caucus links to a resource that’s called Teen Health Source which is a guide to sex acts that don’t get enough play,” Ingraham pointed out.

Ingraham then quoted the website, “This recipe book is designed to give you more information about some of the sex acts that we don’t think get enough play… just like cooking, it takes time and practice to become a pro.”

She commented that the guide was something that belongs on a porn site before turning it over to Ekpunobi.

“Yeah, it is truly unbelievable to see some of the resources that the NEA has at their disposal for young children here. And the NEA is really Public Enemy #1 when it comes to American children. We’re talking about an organization that has allowed kids to be out of school for two years during the pandemic and then when they returned to what should be a normal, wholesome American education, they’re getting inundated with like Sean said, Critical Race Theory and Gender Theory,” she charged.

“It is ridiculous the things these teachers’ unions are endorsing but of course, Biden can’t go up there and talk about those education problems because if he does he has to take the blame and he has to go against an organization that has supported him through every single major gaffe he’s had in this administration so far,” Ekpunobi added.
