‘Savage!’ DeSantis destroys TX sheriff who launched criminal probe against him with BRUTAL truth

Governor Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) burned Texas Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar, a Democrat, to the ground after he declared war against him, announcing he will investigate the conservative firebrand for sending 50 illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.

Salazar joined the front line of Democrats screaming bloody murder over DeSantis flying two flights of illegal immigrants from Texas to the wealthy elitist playground. He’s now pushing the kidnapping angle being promoted by Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) and has opened an investigation under the auspices of migrants being “lured” from the Migrant Resource Center under “false pretenses” and then flown to Martha’s Vineyard.

“Here we have 48 people that are already on hard times. They are here legally in our country at that point,” he disingenuously asserted. “I believe that they were preyed upon. Somebody came from out of state, preyed upon these people, lured them with promises of a better life, which is absolutely what they were looking for.”

Salazar asserted that his office is working with advocacy groups and attorneys to go after DeSantis over the incident.

“What we understand is a Venezuelan migrant was paid a…bird-dog fee to recruit approximately 50 migrants…and I will use the word “lured” under false pretenses into staying in a hotel for a few days, then taken to an airplane where they were flown to Florida and then eventually flown to Martha’s Vineyard under false pretenses of being offered jobs,” Salazar claimed. “For what we can gather, a little more than a photo op, a video op, and then they were unceremoniously stranded in Martha’s Vineyard.”

If the sheriff thought that DeSantis would crumble to his knees over his threat, he was sorely disappointed.

The Florida Republican took full credit for the two charter flights populated with Venezuelan migrants from San Antonio who he flew to Florida and then to Martha’s Vineyard. The illegal immigrants were reportedly given multiple opportunities to decide against going. Officials claim that the individuals were offered hotels, meals, showers, and haircuts for a couple of days before the trip and that some of them decided not to go.

DeSantis’ administration refuted the rumors that the illegal immigrants were promised jobs in Martha’s Vineyard. They contend that the individuals were simply presented with information about the benefits and services that are commonly found in sanctuary states.

Many did choose to go and, considering they were homeless and here illegally, it was pretty much a no-brainer.

In response to Salazar’s attack, the conservative governor released a statement claiming the immigrants were abandoned in Bexar County and “left to fend for themselves.”

“Florida gave them an opportunity to seek greener pastures in a sanctuary jurisdiction that offered greater resources for them, as we expected. Unless the MA national guard has abandoned these individuals, they have been provided accommodations, sustenance, clothing, and more options to succeed following their unfair enticement into the United States, unlike the 53 immigrants who died in a truck found abandoned in Bexar County this June,” the statement said, leaving a definitive mark. That was in reference to the tragic deaths of 53 migrants found in a locked commercial truck in San Antonio earlier this year.

Martha’s Vineyard and its wealthy denizens were caught off guard by the illegal immigrants and were not amused that what leftists have been pushing on red states was brought to their doorstep.

“Dealing with immigration populations is nothing new to us, however with a plane landing, and you don’t even know it’s coming, that kind of puts a different level of crisis intervention into it,” Sue Diverio, who is the executive director for Harbor Homes, a shelter helping to care for the migrants, told Fox News Digital last week. “It was definitely an unexpected arrival of refugees.”

Democrats screamed that DeSantis was playing with people’s lives all for political gain. The hypocrisy is rich considering 50 illegal immigrants landed on the island while millions have come across the southern border inundating red states such as Texas and Arizona.

Since DeSantis sent the planes to Martha’s Vineyard, an incensed Newsom has sent a letter asking Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate whether the Florida governor could be charged with kidnapping. The hypocrisy concerning that move is deep considering Newsom launched a program as San Francisco mayor that bussed thousands of homeless people out of San Francisco and the state, according to Fox News.

“Immigrants have been more than willing to leave Bexar County after being abandoned, homeless, and ‘left to fend for themselves,’” Taryn Fenske, the communications director for DeSantis, said in a statement on Monday when asked about Salazar’s probe by Politico. “Unless the MA national guard has abandoned these individuals, they have been provided accommodations, sustenance, clothing.
