Insane video shows man in Chicago sucker punch the WRONG guy, sparks fierce debate

In the killing fields of Chicago, going into a liquor store can be a life and death proposition, which is illustrated in one video that shows a man sucker-punching the wrong guy who would, in turn, shoot him dead on the spot.

D. Scott tweeted out a video with the caption, “Chicago, West Garfield Park neighborhood. Man sucker punches a man from behind. Man pulls gun and blows him away.”

The soon-to-be deceased attacker walked up to a man at a counter in the West Garfield Park liquor store on Wednesday, August 31st, in the afternoon at 4:15 and sucker-punched him from behind. The victim fell to the ground.

As the victim was leaving the store, the attacker was stopped by two men who stepped in front of him. After he halted, they shuffled off just as the victim appeared in the doorway and pulled a gun.

He proceeded to shoot his attacker in the chest multiple times. The man fell down and then attempted to get back up as everyone around him went running for cover. The video is very grainy but you can see blood all over the man.

He was rushed to Mount Sinai Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Not much is known about the man except that he was 19 years old, according to the medical examiner.

The shooter got away and is still at large amid an active search, according to police.

The video is disturbing, but also ironic considering Chicago’s anti-gun laws.

The incident occurred evidently due to an argument according to CBS News.

Much of the social media reaction was of the mind that the guy got what was coming to him.

One commenter snarked, “Bet he dont do that again.”

Another commented, “No one should convict. The assault was vicious. The attacker is evil.”

The commentary was heated over the incident.

One man stated, “I’m 100% 2a all the way. This wasn’t self defense. That man murdered his attacker. Period.”

Political commentator Michael Cernovich replied, “You expect him to hope the attacker doesn’t kill attack him again when he’s in a concussive state? You are not pro self defense. You’re a Bolshevik.”

“Boy did he pick the wrong person to screw with. 💀,” another guy astutely pointed out.

Cernovich jumped in again, “Was the shooter, who was a victim of an unprovoked attack, supposed to hope that the violent criminal wouldn’t follow him? Those of you who claim this is an unlawful shoot are completely hopeless. He could have been run down and beaten to death.”

The general consensus seemed to be that if you are going to violently attack someone like that, you should not be surprised if he retaliates. This time with deadly force.
