Don Lemon on business end of the woke mob for joking about ‘mommy brain’ with stammering S.E. Cupp

CNN’s Don Lemon is in no position to criticize anyone, yet here we are. After the fall of Chris Cuomo and more recently Brian Stelter, Lemon stands alone as arguably the dumbest man on television, but that hasn’t stopped him from opening his mouth and reaffirming it.

Quasi-Republican political commentator S.E. Cupp, who also works for CNN, joined the panel for “Don Lemon Tonight” on Tuesday and lost her train of thought when it was her turn to speak.

“The numbers don’t add up,” Cupp said, apparently referring to internal GOP numbers of which no one has ever heard.

“What do you mean?” Lemon asked.

“Where Republicans are offering ideas – and they’re not doing much of that anymore – the ideas are not popular among Republicans. Thirteen percent of Republicans want a total ban on abortion. Seventy percent of Republicans want — sorry,” Cupp stammered.

As a result of the exchange, Lemon is now being accused of misogyny for his condescending tone towards Cupp after he tried to finish her thoughts for her, suggesting she was referring to Republicans who approve of at least some abortion restrictions.

“No, no, I was going on a different issue … I mean, a majority of —” Cupp started.

“Did you lose your train of thought? I do it all the time,” Lemon interjected.

“A majority of Republicans oppose book bans. A majority of Republicans think that talking about race and learning about racism in school is a good thing. Majorities of Republicans are not where today’s MAGA Republicans are going and all the things that they keep talking about, which begs the question: what the hell are they thinking?” she asked, rhetorically.

“Is it fair to say this, because I’m not a mommy, but is it mommy brain?” he asked Cupp.

Cupp, whose only child is now seven years old, politely rejected Lemon’s assertion.

“No, Don, I just forgot what I was going to say,” she said.

“I forget what I’m talking about all the time,” Lemon said, breaking into childish guffaws over the minor blunder.

“We’re not beating up on you. We’re just having fun,” he claimed.

Meghan McCain was among those who called out Lemon on social media.

She tweeted, “I look forward to ANY man on planet earth being chided on air for having ‘daddy brain’…”
