Failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s gloating over the Biden regime’s political persecution of former President Donald J. Trump could create a headache for Attorney General Merrick Garland as the Justice Department builds its criminal case to drop in the laps of a hostile D.C. jury over materials seized in the stunning FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago.
At least that’s the opinion of constitutional law expert Jonathan Turley who argues that Mrs. Clinton’s taunting behavior, especially hawking swag like her silly $30 “But Her Emails” ballcaps will represent a serious image problem for a DOJ that is already hemorrhaging credibility if it confirms that there is truly a two-tiered system of justice in America, one for protected Democrats and the other for their political enemies, by charging Trump.
In a column for The Hill, Turley writes, “While Clinton considers her prior conduct a subject of mirth, the FBI’s handling of her case will cast a long shadow over any potential prosecution of the former president, including the recent focus on an obstruction charge. There likely would be an assortment of “but her emails” objections to a charge that could have been made as readily against Clinton or her associates.”
With Hillary Clinton selling “But Her Emails” hats at $30 a pop, Merrick Garland will have to explain the prospect of one politician going to jail while the other goes retail. https://t.co/8LYa5qYTJY

“Garland may be able to make a case against Trump and show that it is indeed distinguishable from the Clinton case and others. What has been alleged is undeniably serious, including the alleged failure to comply with an earlier subpoena and false statements,” he wrote “However, Garland must address the legitimate concerns of millions of Americans that the same office involved in past Trump investigations — with documented instances of false or misleading statements — is leading this new effort. There also is the great concern over the Biden administration charging a prior and possibly future political opponent.”
“…In addition to the transfer of top-secret and other classified documents to her private server, Clinton and her staff did not fully cooperate with investigators when first asked to produce material,” Turley added on Twitter.

The embittered Clinton, who has taken her 2016 upset loss to the bombastic billionaire outsider very, very personally promoted her “limited edition” hats earlier this year.
Just in time for Galentine's Day, and the news that Trump was flushing documents down White House toilets…

And if the hat itself isn’t bad enough, Clinton’s store is also offering a variety of other “But Her Emails” gear for sale to her legions of avid devotees.

Turley adds, “With Hillary Clinton selling ‘But Her Emails’ hats at $30 a pop, Merrick Garland will have to explain the prospect of one politician going to jail while the other goes retail.”
To no great surprise, Hillary dead-enders lashed out at Turley on Twitter.
HILLARY DID NOT SHOW clearly intentional and willful mishandling of classified information, intentional misconduct; or indications of disloyalty to the United States and deliberate obstruction. TRUMP DID!! https://t.co/vBfqHFBNd6

The difference between the crimes of the two politicians is enormous. You are not a serious analyst.
— Paul Cohn (@cohnpj17) September 4, 2022
That’s ridiculous.

Jonathan, the infractions are nowhere near equivalent. It’s not remotely close, and I think you are fully aware of that. Just admit you’re a die-hard republican shill.

False equivalency. And also tiresome propaganda. Your drivel is not worth my time. Blocked.

They let him keep stolen classified information for 2 years before taking this action. Maybe if Trump hadn’t stolen classified info and lied to the FBI he wouldn’t be in this position. But he did steal and lie. So here we are.

Get over yourself. We know that was a Comey political stunt. She sat before congress for questions, and Comey admitted there was no reason to charge her. What’s your problem really? https://t.co/hDeOz3pPi9

Trumps AG had four years to prosecute Clinton and didn’t…..why?
Pretty obvious that there was no case.

To even make this argument shows how dishonest you are. The cases are no way similar.
— Donald J. Turncoat (@DDumpsterfire) September 3, 2022
All of that could be true (it’s not) but Trump is still a criminal who is going to be indicted.

Regardless of the bad optics, Garland isn’t about to pass up a chance for immortality as the hero of the Resistance who will finally put an end to Trump after years of futility. Hillary may even roll out a new product line.
