Powerful new ad blasts ‘woke’ leftist politicians for violent crime wave – already drawing censorship

A hard hitting new ad puts the blame for the shocking explosion of violent crime directly where it belongs, on “woke” leftist politicians whose criminal-coddling policies and excuse making for violent thugs have turned the streets of major cities under Democrat control into areas where law-abiding citizens put their safety at risk every time that they venture out in public.

The powerful ad by the group Citizens for Sanity – which is set to circulate on social media after Labor Day – doesn’t pull any punches and could have an impact on the upcoming midterm elections, especially in areas where voters don’t want to see their own cities become like those where criminals have been emboldened by the hands-off approach taken by some Democratic leaders.

The ad begins with two women, one a mother pushing a baby stroller and the other carrying a puppy and walking drown a tranquil, tree-lined neighborhood street before shifting to footage of violent thugs on the rampage, committing armed robberies, beatings, shootings, throwing victims onto subway tracks, looting and rioting, all now commonplace in cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland, Philadelphia and other metropolises that have been turned into violent dystopian hellscapes by soft-on-crime Democrats.

How hot is the ad? It has marked as sensitive content by the thought police at the San Francisco-based Twitter Ministry of Information.

“For nearly thirty years, crime was falling in the United States, no more,” the ad begins as the highlight reel of violent criminals plays along with ominous music. “The national murder rate is at its highest in 25 years, the result of far left policies, you’ve seen the images.”

“Subway riders pushed onto tracks by the violently deranged. Stores being looted in broad daylight. Elderly women viciously beaten on streets and outside their homes. Gang shootings turning cities into war zones,” the narrator continues as the visual evidence of vicious criminals accompanies his words.

“Hardened criminals rampaging without fear. No fear of arrest. No fear of prosecution. No fear of jail. No fear of any consequence at all,” as footage of attacks on police by violent rioters is shown, such acts were condoned by politicians, the media, corporations, entertainers and sports figures during the 2020 summer of George Floyd and the terrifying race riots that erupted after his death. “Instead, you are made to live in fear.”

“Woke progressive prosecutors are releasing dangerous predators before trial,” as big city district attorneys Alvin Bragg of New York City, Larry Krasner of Philadelphia and San Francisco’s Chesa Boudin, who just got the boot from voters, are shown on the screen.

“Woke far left politicians have allowed our streets and parks to be overrun with crime and drugs,” singling out Vice President Kamala Harris, socialist demagogue Bernie Sanders and ethically challenged Rep. Ilhan Omar. “Police have been made into the enemy and criminals into a protected class.”

“Violent crime is up 21 percent in Washington D.C. 35 Percent in Chicago. 41 percent in New York City, and murders are up 207 percent in Portland.” the ad states. “Cities in chaos, billions in property damages, lives, families destroyed.”

“Stop the woke war on police. Stop the far left assault on public safety. Stop the radical left wing love affair with criminals. Stop the insanity,” the ad concludes.

Citizens for Sanity which is described by Politico as “a tax-exempt nonprofit organization working with prominent Republican consultants, has begun running a television, newspaper and billboard advertising campaign in battleground congressional districts,” is the group behind a series of billboard that have appeared that are critical of Democrat policies and politicians.

“Citizens for Sanity’s mission is to return common sense to America, to highlight the importance of logic and reason, and to defeat “wokeism” and anti-critical thinking ideologies that have permeated every sector of our country and threaten the very freedoms that are foundational to the American Dream,” the group states on its website.
