Visibly shaken Tucker Carlson calls dangerous, outrageous Biden speech ‘truly nuts’

Fox News host Tucker Carlson ripped into President Biden’s “immoral” speech given in Philadelphia where he railed against MAGA Republicans in front of a “blood-red Nazi background” and called it “truly nuts.”

Biden gave the explosive speech on Thursday night at Independence Hall in Philadelphia with Marines standing in the background. Carlson compared it to something straight out of Nazi Germany. The divisive president warned those in attendance that “MAGA Republicans” are a danger to democracy, the country, and freedom. He painted them as a threat and as the enemy.

“We must be honest with each other and with ourselves,” Biden declared during his speech. “Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic.”

“MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution,” he falsely declared. “They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election. And they’re working right now, as I speak in state after state, to give the power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election-deniers to undermine democracy itself.”

“MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards. Backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love. They promote authoritarian leaders and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country,” Biden asserted.

“They look at the mob that stormed the United States Capitol on January 6th – brutally attacking law enforcement – not as insurrectionists, who placed a dagger at the throat of our democracy, but they look at them as patriots and they see their MAGA failure to stop a peaceful transfer of power after the 2020 election as preparation for the 2022 and 2024 elections. They tried everything last time to nullify the votes of 81 million people. This time, they’re determined to succeed in thwarting the will of the people,” he continued.

“MAGA Republicans have made their choice. They embrace anger, they thrive on chaos. They live not in the light of truth, but in the shadow of lies,” the president dangerously said, attempting to incite hatred against conservatives.

The speech began shortly after Carlson’s show kicked off. The Fox News host mocked the speech at first but later in the show pointed out how very dangerous it was.

“We made fun of it at the top of the show because we really didn’t know how else to respond,” Carlson commented. “But Joe Biden crossed into a very dangerous, very dangerous place. Tonight he declared in a speech in Philadelphia that anyone who disagrees with him is a threat to the country.”

Carlson played a clip of Biden denigrating anyone who supported former President Trump, attempting to not only disparage his chief adversary but over half the nation as an imminent threat to our way of life.

He shredded the leftist leader for ginning up hatred and distrust between Americans.

“Yeah, they’re a threat, says the guy with the blood-red Nazi background and Marines standing behind him,” the conservative pundit solemnly noted. “It’s totally immoral.”

As Biden ranted over “MAGA Republicans” who refuse to accept the 2020 election results, Carlson bluntly stated, “This is truly nuts and threatening to the future of the United States. It’s hard to believe he just did that, but he did.”

Carlson opened his show by illustrating how Biden is tearing the nation apart.

“America, ladies and gentlemen, is under attack and not from our usual enemies. The threat we face tonight is existential, but it’s not coming from barefoot religious extremists living in caves,” he snarked. “It’s not the Chinese government. It’s not even Vladimir Putin himself, the most diabolically evil man in history. No, ladies and gentlemen, this threat is worse than all of that and it’s homegrown. As they say in the horror movies, it’s coming from inside the house. The single greatest threat to America today is Republican voters, all 75 million of them. They are Nazis and destroyers of democracy. They must be stopped.”

“That is the message of Joe Biden’s speech. Just moments ago, he referred to MAGA forces who are apparently marshaling at Red Lobster near you, ready to take over this country. Now, to underscore how deeply Joe Biden means all of this, tonight’s address in Philadelphia is not being categorized as a campaign event ahead of the midterm elections, which is what it looks like. No. Instead, this speech has the full sponsorship of the White House,” Carlson pointed out.

“In other words, what Joe Biden is saying right now is the official position of the entire executive branch of the U.S. government. That would include the Justice Department, the various Intel agencies, and the world’s most powerful standing military. Think about that. Does it make you nervous? You don’t have to be a Trump voter to see a speech like this as a turning point in American history. For hundreds of years, the U.S. has had a political system comprised of two competing parties. If you were to declare one of those parties criminal and illegitimate, what would you be left with?” he asked.

“Well, you will be left with a one-party state and that is what Joe Biden is calling for tonight, a one-party state. It’s shocking. You may have trouble believing it’s even happening and yet it is live on television right now, and yet and here’s what we’re here to tell you, believe it or not, there is an upside to this catastrophe,” Carlson told viewers.

“Even as you watch your beloved country take a turn you never imagined possible, there is reason for hope. American liberals may have obvious dictatorial ambitions. There’s no question they do. Only would-be dictators fear free speech and an armed population,” he continued.

“But just because liberals long for a one-party state doesn’t mean they’re going to get one. They won’t. In the end, they don’t have the skills to pull that off. Liberals are too incompetent to overthrow democracy, and that’s obvious from history,” Carlson concluded.
