Sarcastic ad hilariously mocking Biden’s student loan bailout is must-see TV

A viral ad mocking President Biden’s massive student loan handout is making the rounds using blue-collar workers to sarcastically rip into the plan, telling students college is on them.

A conservative “action tank” called the American Action Network created the ad, according to the Washington Examiner. Workers speak of long, hard hours, getting their hands dirty, trying to scrape by, and sometimes working two jobs to make ends meet. All so some college kid can buy a new car since they don’t have to pay back their student loans. Hard-working Americans are picking up the tab thanks to Biden.

“I spend more time working on these cars than with my own family,” a mechanic explains.

“I spend my days digging holes, cutting grass, and sweating,” a landscaper proclaims.

“This is job number 2 today,” a waitress states. “So, my customers aren’t the only ones drinking coffee.”

“I’m breaking my back out here for one reason,” the landscaper remarks.

“I wanna pay off some other guy’s debt!” the mechanic smilingly snarks.

“Biden’s plan to pay other people’s college loans using my tax dollars is a great idea!” the waitress exclaims.

“Biden’s right, you should take my tax dollars to pay off your debts. My family will figure out how to get by with less. What’s most important is we spare college graduates from any extra stress,” the landscaper sarcastically says.

“Wanna be a struggling artist? College is on me,” the mechanic quips.

“My kids don’t need fancy things like school supplies or new shoes,” the waitress claims.

“I work for you, theater major,” the landscaper declares.

“This shift is for you, business major. Go buy yourself that new car,” the waitress sneers.

“Enjoy your free ride. College is on me,” the mechanic jabs as the ad concludes.

“This is awful policy, and there’s real resentment brewing,” AAN President Dan Conston warned. “Working Americans shouldn’t have to foot the bill for a handout to coddled elite college graduates who don’t like having to pay what they owe.”

The ad calls Biden’s student loan forgiveness program a “bailout for rich kids.” It is being aired primarily during college football and MLB games where it will potentially have the biggest impact on working families.

AAN is reportedly spending $350,000 for a national ad blitz against the student loan handout. The campaign will also micro-target blue-collar voters on digital platforms, according to Axios.

Biden announced on Wednesday he would move to forgive up to $10,000 in loans for any borrower making less than $125,000 per year, or $20,000 for Pell Grant recipients. More than 60 percent of borrowers are Pell Grant recipients, officials noted.

The nonprofit Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimated this week that the plan would cost between $440 to $600 billion over the next ten years.

About 20 million borrowers are expected to have their debt completely wiped out, while another 21 million will see their balances shrink, according to CRFB estimates.
