Director of ‘My Son Hunter’ claims lawyers repping Hunter Biden tried to ‘infiltrate’ film set

The director of a new biographical drama that will focus on the relationship between Hunter Biden and his father, President Joe Biden, claimed in an interview that Hunter’s attorneys snuck onto the Serbian set.

In the interview last week, Director Robert Davi told Breitbart that the lawyers masqueraded as documentary filmmakers.

“A month before I was there Hunter was in Serbia at Belgrade, a month before we started to film and also they sent a team of lawyers down that were saying they were doing a documentary, to infiltrate the set and we find out later on that they were sent down, that they were representing Hunter Biden,” Davi said.

The “Die Hard” star revealed additional details about the faux documentary team to Mediaite.

“I had a funny feeling that they weren’t forthcoming,” Davis said, later indicating that their jig was up once he saw reports about Hunter’s $2 million of outstanding tax being paid off by an attorney that had represented “South Park” creators.

Davi told the fake documentary crew that the film was not intended to “demonize” Hunter Biden or his addiction to cocaine and that he created the “nuanced” Hunter character based on Biden’s autobiography “Beautiful Things.” American FBI film “American Hustle” also provided inspiration for the new movie about President Biden’s son.

“Drug addiction is terrible. I’ve had family members that had drug addiction. I didn’t want to demonize that. At the base, it’s a father and son story,” Davi explained.

“My Son Hunter” is set to release on September 7. Hunter Biden is played by Laurence Fox and President Biden is portrayed by John James.  Former “Mandalorian” star Gina Carano also stars in the film.

The website for “My Son Hunter” warns that the movie features “sex, prostitution, drugs, cronyism, money laundering, more sex, a Laptop from Hell, Chinese spies, Ukrainian ‘Businessmen,’ the CPP [Chinese Communist Party], the Selling Out of America, the Big Guy, Corn Pop, More Sex, Additional Drugs, and… Family.”

Carano apparently opens the movie with the line, “This is not a true story, except for all the facts.”

Although not traditionally a filmmaking team, Breitbart CEO Larry Solov explained why the media outlet was jumping into the movie business with their explosive film.

“Breitbart has always believed freedom flourishes with more voices, not less. As we begin distributing films, that belief will be a guiding light,” Solov said.
