‘I took control. I shouldn’t do that’: Biden apologizes to his handlers, then they kick out the press

Following weeks inside the safe space of a semi-secure environment, President Joe Biden is back in the public eye and back to making the sort of unforced errors that must drive his handlers to fits of frustration, once again providing fodder for those inclined to speculate that someone else is pulling his strings.

On Friday, the angry Joe Biden of Thursday’s demagogic campaign rally gave way to the confused, 79-year-old who often wanders off into the mental fog, this time seeming to apologize to his staff for taking too many questions at a White House event.

At a Women’s Equality Day gathering of local officials and activists to discuss how to guarantee that women who desire to snuff out the lives of their unborn children will be able to continue to do so after the Supreme Court’s historic overturning of landmark abortion rights ruling Roe v. Wade, a stammering Biden threw up his hands and apologized for going rogue.

The president’s curious remarks came after he had fielded a question and then pointed to another reporter when he was interrupted by a staff member who appeared to have been trying to put an end to the Q & A portion of the meeting, perhaps to minimize the possibility that he would go off the rails and spoil a weeks-long propaganda campaign that has shifted the narrative to falsely portray him as a strong leader.

Biden mumbled unintelligibly and then pointed at the reporter before being caught off guard by the staffer.

“Oh I’m sorry,” he stammered, “I took control, I shouldn’t do that. I’m not allowed to do that… go ahead, you tell me.”

“I think we’re gonna go ahead and have the rest of the conversation closed press,” said the staffer. “Thank you all so much,” as a confused press talked over each other trying to get their last questions in.

The staffer’s interruption and Biden’s bizarre apology drew much attention on Twitter, once again raising questions about who is really running the show.

Others expressed their opinions suggesting that Biden is just senile.

With just over two months to go until the critical midterm elections, Biden’s handlers have a monumental task on their hands to keep the Potemkin Village intact until after the polls close on November 8th.
